I.... I need dis.... so bad.... :D

I can has... elven healer with an herb garden and pet weasel? I think it would make her an alchemist/doctor essentially, brewing up meds and fixing injuries.
Yup we just need to get group 2 launched. I'm up for leading that group as Marian isn't someone in training. She could take them out tracking some "critters" and go from there.
Marian

Marian walked into Rumpelstiltskin's little closeted shop just as he was settling comfortably into his favorite chair. The tavern, the brothel, all the rest, were the domain of two very strong-willed (and one of them quite dominant) women, but the shop was his space and he would be damned if anyone would lord over him here. Even people he was putting to work. He looked over at her cooly as he lit a gnarled pipe shaped like a goblin's head with a long hat, and puffed thoughtfully as she set the stinking cage on his store counter.

"It's alive, and well then?" Rumple asked.

"Well, I do think the lil critter could use a bath. And a dunking into a vat of perfume. The whores upstairs smell better." Marian responded with a wrinkled nose. "But yes, it's alive and I',m pretty sure it's not hurt. Bodaway didn't wanna let me come near with it, I had to tie her off and then mount. I think she might be holding it against me, being she tried to throw me for the first hour of the ride home."

The wee man snorted and took a puff off his pipe, letting smoke curl out his wide nostrils slowly. He had sent her to the Everglades and back to hunt down the little beastie for a reagent he had to procure for a private client. The critter was sitting in a damp, black furred ball watching him with beady eyes and growling softly. Rumple sat and looked back at Marian, expectantly. She returned the gaze for a moment, then frowned.

"Aren't I getting paid now??" she asked, somewhat annoyed. He always made them ask for payment. Why pay them if they didn't remember it? And he did love being asked for things...

"We had a deal," he said, and opened a drawer to rummage about for a bit, "And I can't go back on a deal." He took out a small pouch of coin, double checked the contents, and tossed it to her with a jingle. She caught it mid air with a grin.

"Thank ya kindly!" She gave the caged critter one more look as she left. She stopped off in her room to deposit her wet duster, hat, and chaps from her travels, and changed into a fresh blue gingham shirt to wear with her denim pants and boots before heading back to the tavern. When she arrived, she tried not to interrupt Snow and the strange man she was talking to.

"Woody," she said, fishing into her new pouch of payment, "Gimme some of that nicer tequila you got in the locked cabinet."
done!
HellHoundWoof, did you read the original OOC post? The summary? Characters need to be based on or derived from fairy tale characters. Also, its set in real world earth in a sort of steampunk Victorian 1850-1860 time. The characters are in America.
The others should go on towards the site. The mall can be about to close and so soon after they start walking, Jason and Iikka head out in Jason's car. They pass the construction site to see something going on with the other three and Jason makes the executive decision to stop and they get out to check on the group.
Briar Rose

Her first reaction was to argue and nitpick the suggestions for teams simply because Jack said them. But then she considered that she might end up grouped with Sawyer if she argued, since Ellie didn't need her and it seemed unlikely they would let two women go off alone. At least Devin was the more pleasant of the two men.

"We only have a little time left. I don't know how late it is because of the weather and my travels, but soon enough it will be a rude hour to knock on doors." she said. "Perhaps we shall start with going directly to the local law enforcement, Huntsman?" she asked, looking at Devin directly. She had put on a more pleasant facial expression for her new partner, rather than the resting bitch face that plagued her when she wasn't watching for it or was just pissed off. "Perhaps there is a sheriff investigating this?"

She looked to Red, feeling sorry for the girl's lot in partners. "Peut-être que vous pourriez vous adresser à l'église locale?"
Marian

The front door opened once more, and a tall redheaded woman in a hat and duster damp from rain entered with a wicker cage under her arm. Something was moving in the cage and making snicking noises, but all that could be seen was glittering black eyes peeking from wet fur, and a smell like rotten swamp. She passed through the tavern quickly, tipping her hat to Snow with a quick "Ma'am," as she passed and heading in the direction Rumple had gone. It would appear the old man had a delivery. She disappeared through the same doors the old man had just gone through, seemingly ready to get rid of her stinking cargo which probably gave out nasty bites.
Full Name: Marnie Robinson

Alias: Marian

Age: 22

Gender: female

Race: Human

Homeland: The Republic of Texas, now a State.

Appearance: Tall and red-headed with bright blue eyes and freckles, Marian is a descendant of Robin Hood and Maid Marian. Not that she knows that. It's why she's such a fast draw and a sharp shot, and why she can handle a sword better than a Spanish landlord.

Languages: English, Spanish, Apache, Tonkawa, and some Lipan and Commanche, and some Latin.

Height/Weight: Five foot Seven inches

Outfit/Armor: Casually, she has a cotton dress made from homespun and a lace shawl for Sundays, several plaid or gingham blouses, a few long denim skirts and some real purdy boots with snakes and crosses tooled into the leather. Most often, and especially for missions, she dresses in leather chaps over denim Levi's, a plaid cotton blouse, and a duster with a leather hat. All the leathers and dyes are a dark, earthy brown best for blending in with the surroundings. It served its purpose in El Paso. Gotta hide that red hair.

Hunting Gear: A belt of bolts across her chest to go with her crossbow, which is a sturdy thing made of oak and brass. If she fails to shoot you before you get close, she can knock you with the damn thing quite effectively without damaging it. She also has a Spanish rapier that she is proficient with. She likes the crossbow better than pistols for a few reasons: it's quieter than pistols, and she can re-use her bolts, and she prefers sharp shooting more than large gunfights. She keeps a pistol anyway, though. One of those six shooter Smith & Wessons, but its more for a quick self defense. She makes an excellent sniper.

Likes: smoked meats, hot coffee, singin', and tequila

Dislikes: rich folk takin' 'vantage of simple folk, horse/cattle thieves, la-di-da yankees, folks as don't like her singin'

Occupation: Highwayman, thank ya kindly. Now you'll be handin' over those gold bouillons.

Skill Set: Picking locks, sniper with her crossbow or quick draw with her pistol. Rapier when she runs out of bullets. Good at hiding in the wild, and handles rough living well. She can move very quietly. She can lasso and hogtie as needed. No fear when it comes to animals.

Magic Abilities: None.

Pets/Companions: She has a very very fast horse named Bodaway ("Fire maker"). Perhaps that one has the magic in it. She got it from an Apache shaman after saving him from bandits. Sometimes it feels like that horse could outrun a steam engine. She appears to be some sort of ordinary quarter horse in a chestnut color with a blond mane and tail.

Personality: She prefers anything that takes her out into the wilderness and away from cities. She doesn't like wasting time at the guild when she could be out dealing with bandits, wendigos, and other beasties.

Background: Marian hails from El Paso, Texas. (Which just recently became a state.) She grew up on the frontier, mingling with a mixture of European immigrants, Spaniards, and various Native tribes. Her parents started out wanting to go all the way to California, but settled in El Paso seeing a good ranching opportunity. She has 5 brothers (2 older, 3 younger) back at the ranch, and she didn't grow up terribly lady like. She prefers rough living over sitting in a house knitting. When the railroad tried to take her family's ranch when she was 14, she and her elder brothers saddled up and went out robbing trains and sabotaging rail building camps until the company decided to change their route and go another way. This was how she learned to sniper, and her brothers were amazed to find her such a natural that they taught her to shoot pistols and bows. Aside from her lawlessness, she has a gentler side that just wants to be out of doors and free. She enjoys singing, and knows a lot of folk songs.

Unique Abilities: She's a fantastic sniper with a crossbow, always on the mark, and moves quite silently in brush and wilderness. Sometimes its like she can see in the dark like a cat, and darkness doesn't affect her sniper skills much. Excellent horsemanship.

Second character to run with second group!
