Overgrown (A Green Apocalypse)

While hiding, Jeff heard the words Friend or foe? Seeing that he had a gun, and knowing that he could out power him in a fight, Jeff comes out says "Friend", though he is tightly gripping his crowbar just in case.

Jeff heard some kind of snarl from close by. From where it sounded like it came from, the person would be able to see him from where he is. He decided to dart to the net building over to hide behind, just in case the person had some kind of weapon and would kill him.

While walking to an apartment, Jeff hears some talking, but doesn't think anything of it. He find a door that is barricaded and knocks on it, but there is no answer. He pries it down with his crowbar. He sees a couple that had done suicide with a revolver. "Sweet, there might be some ammo left in the gun" he said. He checks but finds only one bullet left. He walks out of the apartment and sees the people that were talking. He hides behind a garbage can and gets his crowbar ready in case that they try to kill him.
