Daniel lead her back towards the parking lot and then again down several blocks to an alleyway. Under any ordinary circumstances there was not a snowball's chance in hell she'd go down an alleyway with someone she had just met, but these were not ordinary circumstances after all.
On either side of them the alley stretched away from them. Trashcans and cardboard boxes sat messily against the brick wall, some even spilling their contents on the ground. They emerged into a small almost enclosed lot where more garbage tumbled across the ground. She watched as he moved more towards the center of the lot before turning back to her.
She pondered for a moment at his question before looking around once more making sure noone was looking. It seemed clear.
“Can you show me how you do it?” She hated herself for sounding almost childish. “I mean, how do you do all those tricks?”
In leiu of trying to explain it further she look a piece of garbage tumbling by her feet, an old plastic milk carton. Ignoring the smell of sour milk remnants she let out a breath and waved her hand over it. Before their eyes the plastic turned a grossly uneven gradient of brown and the carton shape was replaced more with an amorphous blob.
“Literally looks like shit,” she said jokingly, but bluntly nonetheless.
