Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Should I...back up Marco a bit for now so I don't get in the way?

Ah...I forgot what I should be posting as a response to Cicile. Is there anything specific I need to mention? I don't remember her power.
@booksmusicanime

Understood. Is there anything that should be done in the meantime?

The cat's exit left the bear in silence as he stared after in curiosity and some slight remaining confusion. There were new guests, likely linked to the curse somehow if the younger brother was correct, but that still didn't tell him very much. Sighing, he turned back toward where the odd shadow had sat on the wall only to realize that he was unable to find it anymore. "Faris?"

When no voice answered back and no shadow in the kitchen gave any sign to him, he let his shoulders fall a bit. He finally saw him, and he lost him again. Who knew when he'd show up again, or if he would even be able to tell with the boy in that state? Deciding that there wasn't much to be done on that front for the moment, he sat down to take stock of the situation. There are people here who we don't seem to know, likely connected to the curse if Faris is correct. And...that's more or less all I know. I guess they must have arrived extremely recently, though it's possible that everyone has just been too busy to give much notice yet. Still, they couldn't have been here that long...In any case, guests mean that there's work to be done. I should at least--

The roar ringing through the estate jolted the bear from his thoughts as he scrambled to his feet. "Hachi?" Such a sound couldn't mean anything good; whether he was in trouble or causing it somehow, it was a problem. And monster or not, preventing these things when possible was his field.

I guess so.

"Could'a fooled me. It's way too early for strange people to be acting suspicious. I don't even know if a 'James' lives here." The redhead took another slow sip of his coffee to complete his lazy-sounding reply.

"...But if I did, I don't know anyone here who would give away information like that so freely to unannounced trespassers."

The male stood up, book in hand and eyes slightly narrowed despite the still-sleepy frown on his face. Leaving the coffee at the table, he calmly made his way to the front desk, searching around once he made his way behind it. "Let's see...today's what day again? I hope they remembered to fix the equipment...It hasn't been that long since I last burnt my cooking." After another moment of looking around, the male stopped and smiled up at the smoke detector up on the ceiling. "That's a cobweb, isn't it? Don't want spiders messing up the system, so I'll just..."

The concealed youth stepped back a bit as the girl in front of them started to turn, but was quickly distracted by the sudden, abnormal growth of a new tree before their group. To say that Chiari was startled was an understatement, though they weren't entirely sure how to react to the strange situation aside from falling backward and slapping a hand over their own mouth to stifle the yelp that almost escaped. When someone actually came out of the fully grown tree, they just picked themself up and scowled as they brushed the dirt off their backside, making sure their camouflage hadn't slipped as a result of the flashy entrance.

"Scared it off. It was a nice one, too; one of my favorites." The teen grumbled very quietly as they watched the newcomer introduce himself from just behind the girl. The power was pretty fascinating, admittedly, just rather...strange for someone so timid-looking to choose such an introduction with it. "I don't know how I feel about this one," they whispered. "I'm staying back for now."

Yes! Welcome :D
Added you to the OP.

Thanks so much!
I'd kind of like to have one of the characters be the killer, maybe. It would certainly make for an interesting game. Actually, it would be even better if there were more than one and we had multiple parties like @ArenaSnow suggested.
Not sure if I can manage a DnD type setting exactly, but maybe I'll see if any ideas from that could work well with it.

What kind of place would work best for this? I don't want it to be too small a place, but investigations would be easier on some kind of closed circuit, I think. It doesn't even have to be the same one for the whole game, but we'll have to see how one round goes first.
Oh goodness...what am I going to be walking into tomorrow? So much activity while I'm gone.

I'll get stuff up in the morning, I'm just exhausted.
