Hello, I was on this website long ago back in 2012 before the old site god nerfed. It was quite heartbreaking when the old site went down, as I had an RP that had over 300 pages. I remade that same RP several times on several websites.

I made an entire universe and lore based on that last RP. As a matter of fact I have created two, one for that Unnatural Campus RP and one for an apocalypse RP rpnation.com/threads/bastards-tale.46…

I enjoy a wide variety of RP genres and settings, but right now I am primarily looking for RPs either set in the post apocalypse or medieval (realistic or fantasy). I am hoping for a well organized one with stats and the joy of finding new items/equipment though I am aware that is unlikely as I am looking at the Free section since I am admittedly rusty. The Crystal Cult

The world after the Fall is full of monsters in the shape of humans, some more terrible than others. The Crystal Cult is particularly heinous group of raiders. Based in the ruins and Red Prairie East of Denver, this group worships "the crystal" which enhances their combat capabilities. On it they feel no hunger, no pain, no fear and no fatigue but it come at a cost. The crystal makes a user a super soldier for a time, but continued use rots a person from the inside. Long term side effects include a loss of grip on reality, increased aggression, general apathy and eventually a loss of humanity.

Crystal cultists are typically scrawny and dirty with sunken but alert eyes. Scabs and scars are typically commonly seen on their bodies from self harm and survived altercations, usually where they are the aggressor. Many are sadists and their territory is littered with corpses ad viscera. They wield crude, rusted weapons such as nail bats and crow bars but some of them have guns (usually in poor condition) and some can craft firearms from pipes and other debris. They have an arena crafted from junk, where they send captives from their raids in other parts of Rado to be slaughtered for entertainment. They are enemies to everyone else they come across.

Location

Rado

Like much of the rest of the world, Colorado fell into a state of anarchy and chaos as a result of a number of domestic and foreign conflicts followed by the breaking down of the US government. While various nuclear and biological weapons were utilized which damaged the environment initially, Rado is now a lush green place where nature is flourishing. This is thanks in part to a smaller human population than before and the fact nobody can get any of the motor vehicles to run.

While The Nobility controls the middle and North Colorado, various tribes, cults, and cannibals inhabit the surrounding areas.

Post Apocalypse Drop-In Worldbuilding

Lets create a post apocalyptic world. When laws and governments break down, the world will go on and a new world will rise in place of the last one. What will that be like?

Lets start from a zoomed out viewpoint (what has become of previous states, cities, and countries?) then we work in the smaller details.

Post a location, event, item, faction, creature, or character like this:

Location

What became of the continents and countries from before? What about the cities and what has been built in their place? Ruins of old cities, "nations," gang territories, villages, and even places that resulted from the apocalyptic event(s) go here (such as seas of radiation, wastelands, old battlefields, etc.)

Event

What happened to the world? It must've been a number of things. In addition to that there are theories. What major things have happened since? Old and new wars, natural disasters, major disease outbreaks, massacres, foundings, discoveries, inventions, and other events go here.

Items

What kinds of weapons, armors, drugs, and other things were invented before the Old World collapsed? What weapons, armors, drugs, food recipes, and other things have been invented since? What things like scepters and tomes do the new religious cults place value in? This category also includes things that may have once belonged to important people.

Factions

Gangs, cults, remnants of old governments, mercenary companies, merchant companies, tribes, and bands of survivors go here.

Creatures

What mutants exist in this world? Are there robots/androids? Are there aliens planning to invade or who have invaded? Creatures specific to this world go here.

Characters

Important people such as inventors, cult leaders, gang leaders, people who may be responsible for the collapse of the Old World, and possibly even "heroes" go here. Eventually new history books will be written. Who will they write of?

Improvise and use your creativity. You must use information that has already been posted when creating a new location, events, etc. To simulate the vagueness or inaccuracies of what is posted, you may react with a Laugh or a Like. More Laughs = less true. More Likes = more true.

This is for your creativity in terms of the apocalypse to run wild. Feel free to make a map or maps and post images, bonus if your draw your own. You may even create new categories, just ask (I contemplated making a Culture category.)
