The year is 2323. For decades, Mutants (people with extraordinary abilities) have publicly walked among men. Society had grown to accept them and they no longer had to hide. But a few years ago, a war broke loose between a group of powerful Mutants and most of the human world leaders.

The RP will be set in Thornhall Prison for Mutants, where they lock up every Mutants they get their hands on. You can either be one of those prisoners, or a human guard, or whatever role you wish. Prisoners get a daily injection of a substance that keeps their abilities at an absolute minimum. For example, if you normally can create thunderstorms, your zap will tickle someone at most while under the influence of the substance.

To participate, fill in the below character sheet in the appropriate section.

The girl clearly didn't want to reveal too much about herself and Thonovan decided to respect that for now. "Well, can you at least tell me your name?" He noticed hesitation in her eyes. Hmh, that one eye kept fascinating him. "Mine is Thonovan." he said, hoping she would trust him a little more. He frowned for a second and waved his hand sideways, like you would do when you want to push someone away who is bothering you. "Cut it out." he said, once again to seemingly no one in particular.
"Maybe it got hacked?" Thonovan asked while hitting the bot a few times with the palm of his right hand. He immediately realized that hitting it might make things worse and he gave the girl an apologetic look. "So, what is this place? You weren't here earlier today. I passed through when I..." He didn't finish his sentence.

Before the girl had the chance to answer, Thonovan turned around. There was something nervous in his facial expression. "What do you mean, bionic?" he asked to plain thin air. He turned back to the girl and looked at her left eye with suspicion. "Where exactly did you say you came from?"
It both surprised and relieved Thonovan to hear her voice. Although nervous, it sound somewhat kind in nature. When she told him about the system about to get ugly, he had to act quick. "Okay, okay, turn it off." he said while showing himself.

He stood eye to eye with a girl that looked like she wasn't from around here at all. With her was some sort of A.I. device that he didn't recognize. Odd, considering he always got Shark's newsletter. (Shark was the number one electronics company in 2233)

Thonovan casually approached them and picked up the bot. "What does this do? Can it predict the weather?" he said, clueless of how advanced the bot was and completely neglecting the fact they were strangers and he had just broken into her.. whatever it was.
It was only when he jumped over a fence that Thonovan managed to get rid of the two men chasing him. He heard them shout something about witchcraft as he continued to run, leaving no room for them to catch up. Out of breath, he slowed down when he considered himself far enough from them. "Witchcraft? Are they kidding me? Someone should tell those guys we're living in the year 2233. Witchcraft, hah." While he mocked them, he realized where their worries came from. Thonovan wasn't exactly ordinary and since he could remember, people feared anything they didn't understand.

As his breathing turned back to normal, he came across an odd cabin in the woods. He stopped and looked at an empty space next to him. "I haven't seen this here before. Have you?" he asked at seemingly no one in particular. There was a short silence and Thonovan nodded, as if he was listening to someone. "Are you sure?" he asked out loud once again. Carefully he approached the entrance f the cabin and gently pushed the door open. He sneaked inside and noticed a lot of buttons. For a second, he considered just pressing some random buttons and see what it would do. Out of nowhere, he seemed startled, as if someone had just shouted or something like that. "Oh no!" he said and hid himself from sight.
Since Mr Smoke hadn't arrived yet, Thonovan made himself comfortable in the Professor's chair.

He grabbed a book from his bag called < L'espoir ne sera jamais silencieux > and put his legs on the Professor's desk. While he was reading, he got so carried away with the content of the book that his abilities started to manifest around him. The nearby plants started to move and vines crawled up the walls. When he heard footsteps approaching, Thonovan quickly put the book back into his bag and all the plants returned to their original state. He wasn't sure why but he didn't want people to know he liked reading. It was something he couldn't explain, perhaps he thought that it would make him look vulnerable. As he noticed it was Mr Smoke entering the office, he lift up his legs from the desk and got out of the chair. Had the Professor seen him reading? Thonovan wasn't sure.

While unwrapping a chocolate bar, Thonovan smiled politely at his teacher. "Hello Professor. I thought I'd let myself in, I hope it isn't a problem. We do have an appointment to discuss my self-healing right?" Thonovan looked straight into Mr Smoke's eyes and noticed something was off. The professor seemed lost in thoughts. At that exact moment Thonovan wished he had mind-reading skills. Unsure if he should ask anything about it, he held out his hand with the chocolate bar. "Want some? I brought too many, I will get diabetes if I eat them all." Thonovan had never been an emotional eater but snacks cheered him up when he was worried so he figured it might be able to do the same for his teacher. After all, he knew for sure that they shared a love for chocolate.

@jetipster
I'm still in! Will post today.

Sorry for my inactivity,
I live in Belgium and after what happened in Brussels on tuesday, I had some other priorities.
NAME:
Kjolmar Delacroix

GENDER:
Male

SEXUALITY:
Pansexual

AGE:
Eighteen

YEAR:
Seventh year

HOUSE:
Slytherin

BLOOD STATUS:
Pureblood

In-depth Information

APPEARANCE:

PERSONALITY:
Kjolmar's personality has grown to become the opposite of how he used to be in his early Hogwarts years. Where he used to be arrogant and even mean at times, he has slowly changed for the better and is now very down-to-earth and kind to others. Not someone you'd associate with the Slytherin stereotype at all. He also is quite independent since his parents broke all contact with him as the result of an escalated disagreement.

HISTORY:
His parents, cliché Slytherin types, had always been proud of their son. But as the years passed, they noticed how he softened up and they strongly judged him for what they called his weakness. Quarrels turned into fights and eventually he was thrown out of the house.

Magic

WAND:
Kjolmar's father destroyed his wand in the middle of a fight so Kjolmar is in desperate need of a brand new wand.

BOGGART:
A much darker version of himself, looking a lot like his father.

PATRONUS:
Phoenix

TALENT:
Care of Magical Creatures

WEAKNESS:
Potions

Other

PET:
He used to have a frog but he set him free.

EXTRA:
Kjolmar has to fight judgment in both ways. His parents and some fellow Slytherins see him as weak because he grew to be kind, while others don't fully trust him because he used to be the opposite of who he is today.
