@13org@Hammerman So, I've decided I'm gonna have Ryuuto take the Martial Arts class because he absolutely sucks at hand-to-hand fighting. Like, maybe Freyja facepalmed in the tournament when he surrendered the second his opponent put his hands on him, and Ryuuto hadn't even taken any damage. That's pretty much been his MO. "You got past my strings? Fuck, you win." And as such, he's never needed to be treated for any major injuries.
@Avemelle Wooo! Any idea when we'll have the first post up? (Sorry, I'm impatient. Haha)
@Avemelle Saito's going to start out as super-beginner. He's at the level of, "Hey, look... I can do stuff."
Woo! Can't wait to get started. I'm foreseeing some touching "friendship" moments considering how friendly all these characters seem.
@Dblade26@BrobyDDark

Well, I did some calculations. The average human reaction time to an audio stimulus (the bang of a bullet) is about .2 seconds. At 350 mph, it would still be faster than anyone's reaction time within 100 ft. Maybe instead of putting a hard speed value on it, you could just treat it like an air-based projectile that could be dodged within reason. I mean, Yasu shoots lightning, but we're not assuming it's traveling as fast as real lightning... which is 3,700 miles per second, meaning it would be undodgeable by any human 700 miles away.
@GamerXZI like portals. You can have a TON of fun with that, but it's not too OP.
Ryuuto Koriyama

Freyja may have wondered why students bothered taking notes during the match, and indeed for many students, it was a pointless endeavor when they could just watch the new students and get a sense of their abilities. However, Ryuuto didn't just want a sense. He wanted to dismantle and dissect what the players were doing. His fingers fluttered over his phone with frantic precision, flying between apps like they were notes in one of his rhythm games. CLICK! Snap a picture of Bradley's epic drop kick. Flick back to notes, dictate the strategies being employed complete with time stamps. Switch to video to catch Natsuki's dash. He'd be able to calculate her speed based on distance traveled over time later. CLICK! Snapshot of Yasu's electric burst. More dictation. And, best of all, his point of view in the tree gave him a point of view that nobody else, not even the professors, was seeing. His info buddies would provide him with the standard POV later.

Anybody watching Ryuuto in the tree would probably think he was playing some bizarre cross between piano tiles and Wii Tennis with the way he frantically tapped, swiped, and whipped his phone left and right. Things were starting to get heated up, though. He would have to make sure that no stray attack took him out of the tree... or just straight-up took the tree out.

@Hammerman
@BrobyDDark@tipssyCalibrator Wait, it's approved at literal bullet speed? I see zero ways for any of the other approved characters to realistically deal with that. Dispersing the bullet is impossible if it's moving at bullet speed.
