heh. nice one. we did in one RP write the CS as an IC post. That was pretty fun.The IRC is pretty quiet, we've noticed. Mostly us sitting there observing, with the occasional appearance of a wild Zed.

It used to be busy, but lately quiet, I'll drop back in it more often.

lol Damn. Sounding more and more like a fun way to spend my Monday night; reading this CS.

I'm personally excited.

I'm not even sarcastic.

Crap, that sounds sarcastic.

I really mean it.

(dammit)
House Velaryon

History:

House Velaryon has been close to the ruling Targaryens since before the doom, having relocated West alongside their Valyrian brethren due to the prophecy of Daenys the Dreamer. Taking up lordship of Driftmark, the largest island off the coast of the future Crownlands, Velaryon remained strong supporters of the Targaryens. Aegon's mother was a Velaryon and when he invaded Westeros his master of ships to hailed from the household. Since that day, three Targaryen Princes have taken Velaryon women for wives.

Throughout the years, the Velaryons have upheld the laws and diktats of the Targaryens, siding with the Blacks during the Dance of the Dragons and providing the largest fleet directly available to their royal overlords. Curiously, the House was suprisingly inactive during the Blackfyre rebellions. Unlike conflicts, the Velaryons had blood on both side of the conflict, their lineage entwined with both Targaryen and Blackfyre lines. To some extent, this has earned them the ire of the current generation of Targaryens, but they were not so quiet on the matter as to be deemed traitors. The previous head of the household, the bumbling fool Viserys Velaryon has recently died, having failed in his general duties as Master of Ships. While choking on a capon bone, there are some muttering that his younger sister may have had a hand or two in the matter, as the now de facto ruler of the House.

Ohand: Right now I'm doing a pre-Rant collab with Vanq. That's the last IC thing I'll do before the Big Rant pad opens up, and with all of Eva and her Coterie there, it's the best opportunity if you've been wanting to interact with them. I don't believe Zach's Saxon will be present, but I'm not sure if that decision was final. If you're one of the three folks tearing into the former Prince and her coterie, obviously you can do that pre-Rant, including diablerie, if'n you want. Or you can do it offstage, however yall want to play those scenes out. =)

Decisions wasn't final, Saxon will be there, I'm switching round which of my characters will be where in regards to the Rant. But other then that that, yay,

Once Ruby puts up the next Prince claimant I'll put up the next Baron claimant, for you all to admire read.

Hi! I was wondering if you guys had room for a new addition. Is there any chance I could find a spot here?

Yup! Loads of Room.

Do you have an idea in mind?

Would've personally used for Saxon, but City of Angels works just as well. Suppose I'll go for for Tanith.

That's my whole meaning behind one song not captivating a character, City of Angels just best encapsulates his draw to the City, while Sweet LA could better represent his actual relationship with the place and its inhabitants, Anywho, back on track.
I don't ask people to put up theme songs for characters, because I don't think a character can be summed up in (generally) 3 minutes of lyrics, however, stumbled across Saxon's 'unofficial theme' in case anyone fancies some LA themed shenanigans.

Remember, these Big Rant 'players' are designed for your characters and factions to interact with, and not just one player at a time. Want to approach on of them, PM Ruby and/or myself and we should get some mutli-way collabs going.
Name: Natalia Kenroe
Clan: Tremere
Generation: 10th
Appearance:

Born in the mid 1700s to Russian colonists among the small community of Russian Alaska, Natalia was a sweet girl, achieving mascot-like status for the town growing up along with her. Her parents, owners of the town’s only ‘watering hole’ employed her as a serving girl from a young age, further cementing her position in the hearts of the local people. When she was caught in a conflict between the colonists and the Tlingit people, injured nearly unto death, it sparked one of the many localised pogroms of the native population, a fact she herself still holds some amount of regret over, even if as a kindred, her value of kine life as depreciated. Natalia was saved the cold embrace of death by the sacrifice of her true life, a Tremere, a Vizer for one of the Russian Aristocracy’s many Ventrue courts, surveying the territory for his Prince, took an interest in the sociable and bright child, resorting to the embrace to save her life. His calculation proved a fruitful one, bringing into his chantry a fledgling whose power grew radically, her mind taking well to the secrets of blood magic.

Natalia Kenroe is almost an anomaly, a Tremere turned against the order of the Camarilla and into the arms of the Anarch Free State. Her reasons are numerous, however her focus, something that she does not work to hide, is her desire to combat the Sabbat. Tired of the slow machinations of the Camarilla, Natalia has turned to the Anarchs for a more swift and decisive body to combat the Sword of Caine, a faction that her bloodline itself calls her to fight. In recent years, it has seemed that she made the right choice, as the Camarilla strongholds of the Eastern and Southern States, along with Canada, fell to the Sabbat, the Anarch Free States remained free of this enslavement, able to fight off the Sabbat for their treasured freedom. With the coming of the Kuei-Jin however, the Free States have all but crumbled, and many Kindred cities turned back to the old order to ensure their survival. This is a turn of events that Natalia cannot abide, she sees the Kuei-Jin as a deadly foe, but ultimately a distraction from the building might of the Sabbat, and those who turn to the Camarilla to seek safety from this eastern foe are fatally short sighted. Now seeking to directly lead the Anarchs of the city for the first time, she is determined to reverse this trend. To secure LA’s freedom from both, before crushing the Sabbat presence in the city and the state.
