Because that's what this site is for? I guess, but I though it was a site for finding and helping make interesting stories...
It is? Then why would you say it is for meeting people? Oh, that's the only way to make the stories? I guess I'll add more to this then.

When It come to role-playing I like well constructed and interesting worlds. Magic, advanced tech, strange world? I'm in, or may at least lurk. My main enjoyment in role-playing is in the story and the characters, and often take the story five or six different ways in my head then what actually happens, often with a romance plot in mind. Action is secondary, or even tertiary. However I myself am (relatively) new to forum Role-playing and most of my experience comes from playing and GMing a table top RPG.

I am also pretty good at designing role play setting and such so if you would like help creating your RP I would be more then happy to assist.

@DepressedSoviet How many of the world and Dimension books do you have?
I'm not interested. You don't seem to have a strong grasp on the system.

1) Dragon Hatchlings are on average stronger then Nightbane Ley-line walkers. The have both psionics and magic as well as being nigh indestructible.
2) Not only that but Tech has many advantages over magic. Range, damage, versatility, speed, price. Excepting one or two spells (Powerbolt and maybe a legend) even short range tech weapons have a longer reach then the ranged spells.
3) A Mega-Juicer is more powerful than all but the most powerful of Nightbane.
@ZardoricLey Line Walker is fine, but I feel playing a Nightbane would be too much.

Any space for an OP Nightbane Ley-line walker?

Obviously I know the setting... Me and a group get together every weekend or so (when we can). We have done Rifts, nightbane Earth, Superheros, Three galaxies... ect ect.
So yeah, excluding age, you all shouldn't need to change much. Again, you all already feel like one stars, except for the critical eye guy, so if ya give yourselves a nerf, you'll be defeating the purpose.


I am the Critical Eye Guy, that's why I am nerfing. My Crit Eye takes longer, my Martial arts skill is lowered, as are my physical capabilities. Perfect Void has a smaller range. And I gave up a year or so worth of personality and experience development (no longer a skilled team leader, something that may change over the course of the RP). Basically I sent my character a year back in time. I still intend to give him ______ Meister for the weapon he gets teamed with but...
Crap, now I have to go nerf mine... Gimmie a bit.

I do agree that the CSs all felt weak (which was actually going to be an argument to get mine accepted ahead of the others) but for most of them I could easily see ways to raise them to two star.

Edit: Also have to change history, age, personality... Time for a younger version of Chaz to show up I guess...

An ability suggestion/thought about Fox Fire. Instead of having just one function (as a one star weapon might) your character is probably experienced enough to have developed multiple different functions and capabilities, both independently and as a weapon. The ability to use the fire to move stuff without burning it perhaps, or make it so that only Maya and her Meister can see the light from her flames (both attributes that can be taken from a foxes tricky nature). Other possibilities include different types of flame manipulation to Ice magic. Yes, Ice magic. A adept of fire magic can pull the heat out of something (to extinguish the flame for example) and a master can bring it to the point of freezing stuff. Try to be a bit more creative when developing your abilities as they determine when you have available to make techniques. And don't forget to mention stuff like actual physical combat abilities. It isn't just your magical/soul based abilities that matter.

Also, you could probably change your "Flexible" soul into being a utility weapon. Instead of only being able to pair up with one or two Meisters your character would have the pick of the lot, although her personality may or may not get in the way here as that section is not yet done. You would of course still have a primary Meister with which you could truly resonate with.

Depending on your choices you could have a very wide range Two star Weapon, or a very limited One star weapon. It all depends on what you build into your foundation.
