I guess I should do this, shouldn't I? Meh, do I have to? Yes? Fine.

Do I need to add more? Yes? Why? So that people might actually talk to me? Why would I want that? Because that's what this site is for? I guess, but I though it was a site for finding and helping make interesting stories... It is? Then why would you say it is for meeting people? Oh, that's the only way to make the stories? I guess I'll add more to this then.
Favourite Colors: This, this and this. Food: Almost anything Music: Almost anything Likes and Intrest: Women, Books, Video-games, Dogs, Good conversation, interesting worlds, interesting characters. Dislikes: Awkward conversation, bad host, shaky world design. Having to come up with something for this Bio. Most other platforms and sites: Zardoric.
When It come to role-playing I like well constructed and interesting worlds. Magic, advanced tech, strange world? I'm in, or may at least lurk. My main enjoyment in role-playing is in the story and the characters, and often take the story five or six different ways in my head then what actually happens, often with a romance plot in mind. Action is secondary, or even tertiary. However I myself am (relatively) new to forum Role-playing and most of my experience comes from playing and GMing a table top RPG.
I am also pretty good at designing role play setting and such so if you would like help creating your RP I would be more then happy to assist.
Actually, working on a CS now... Seems we all like the older characters.

Name: Anthony Scott
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Height: 5'4" Weight: 155
Digivice Color: Blue-Violet
Personality: Although usually friendly, helpful, and compassionate; Anthony generally keeps to himself. Only really hanging out with a few friends and even then he usually hangs out in the background reading one of his romantic fantasy novels. When he gets into an argument with someone he can be very blunt. Occasionally he can fall into what he calls a 'Dark mood' during which he is somewhat volatile and irritable. When this happens he usually goes off on his own to cool off and reset.
Bio: Anthony live a fairly normal life. He was raised by a single mother with two younger siblings. He showed up every day in school, aced all of his classes (far too easy) and never really tried to do much, instead burying himself inside various fantasy worlds. TV, video games, computers, books; it didn't matter. It got to the point where he started writing stories of his own. The only things Anthony has practiced at outside of school and video games was the piano and dancing. Although both were practiced with little to no attention from others.
@Kouki@DearTrickster May I ask you to review my submission and point to anything that may make it better? Other than needing a weapon, although I had an interesting thought on that...
That is what interest checks are, unrefined Ideas that the prospective host is thinking about making, and seeing if the idea has any merit. The host that polishes their RP before the interest check often hit the problem of "Hey, got this awesome RP. Anyone in? No? Then what did I put all of that time into?". Happens a lot.
If the actual thread was that unrefined then yeah but in an interest check?
Basically the shaman can perform rituals that have powerful effects, but the rituals A) just come to him somewhat randomly (based on the needs of the village and of the land) and may only be used once or twice before being forgotten, B) can not be forced, C) take time in addition to their other requirements.
Example: Rain Dance
Starting as the last of the light leaves the summer sky the Shaman guides a circle of villagers (6 in this case) in a dance around the fire while each member is burning a different plant in their hands and a fire in the middle dances with them. Each villager that is part of the circle has been prepared a head of time with various paints mixed in various ways by the Shaman. As the villagers dance, clouds cover the sky and a light rain begins to fall. So long as the fire remains lit and the dancing continues so will the rain. Many circles around the fire and as the forest itself quiets the dance ends, both the shaman and all those who participated fall asleep where they stand, falling gently to the ground. When they wake they find that it rained just long enough for the village to get the water it needed for the next week or so, maybe a whole month.
Requirements for this dance: 6 Willing villagers - this is likely to be an act of desperation on their part considering the fear of magic. 7 Different herbal plants collected into bushels - can be difficult depending on the season 7 Different mixtures to paint on the shaman and villagers - Each mixture is likely to use different ingredients A large Fire - Fairly easy Time - About 6-7 hours in this case (9-10 at night to 3-4 in the morning) Energy from all of the participants - each person who participated will feel as if they haven't eaten in a week or more, and will need nourishment soon. The planets energy telling the Shaman what to do - GM hack in here. As GM you would decide what rituals are received, as well as the base requirements for it, by the Shaman while he meditates each day, if any. It is then up to the Shaman to use them.
