Kicking over one of the droids Hayden's crash landing had smashed, I groan when she mentions the new model. "You know, I almost feel like at some point, Sucal just went 'how many different ways can I use these models to kill people?'" I shake my head and glance up the stairs. "Well, we might want to let them know the attack's been repelled. We aren't loosing this command center."
Jerius "Mando" Wren-Tomb of Freedan Nadd, Dxun

Jerius could feel the damage inflicted lessening, but he doubted that the full force of it would be healed with the device alone. "Vor entye, thank you." He didn't speak again until the sound of Eri's energy sword coming out on the other side of the neck could be heard, at which point he forced himself up, which was still grimace earning at this point. "And with our trophy claimed, we should return to Clan Ordo's chief. She'll be eager to see we succeeded."

Jerus Je'and-Prancing Nexu, Nar Shaddaa

Jerus nods to Thaz, but still frowns when he looks at the droid. However, rather than addressing the problem on his mind right then, he turned to the Weequay. "So your boss is satisfied then? Job's done and we can find our next contract?" Forda nodded, pulling up a datapad and handing it to the man with the Beskar armor.

"Contacts, as was agreed between us, Je'and. I don't know where you're from or what clan raised you, but efficiency like you three pulled off today is going to be highly sought after. Just remember the most important rule in the underworld; N-" Jerus cuts him off.

"Never work for both sides back to back; I know. See ya around, Forda."

"Stay alive, Je'and." The Weequay turned and left the way he'd come while the droid remained standing at Jerus's side. Eventually, after taking a hearty swig of his drink, the Bounty Hunter faced it.

"And now to figure out how the hell I'm going to get the Supreme Commander to let you on board..."

XO Kol'Zife-Unknown Sector of Space

The sudden disappearance of all the surviving Imperial Ships left the Twi'lek incredibly confused, but before he can make contact with the rest of the fleet, Anubis's broadcast is picked up and displayed on the bridge. Palpatine's corpse was most definitely real and all the members of the Resurgence could do was stare. After a moment, Kol'Zife re-established contact with the others. "XO Kol'Zife to the fleet, you need to see this." As soon as he received permission from the various ship leaders, he broadcast it to all of them.

Jason Erthos-Organa Spaceport, Alderaan

Jason watched the suddenness of the storm and turned to address his companions as Teyla fell to the ground and then Sonia's aid spoke, he felt a sinking in his stomach. Bail, on the other hand, laughed. "Hardly some great evil, I assure you. Storms are not uncommon this time-" One of his aids rushes to his side and whispers in his ear and the House Head's gentle smile became a solemn frown. "You're sure of this?" The aid nods and whispers again. Sending him away, Bail faces his guests, the frown having been made a grimace. "It would seem Palpatine's new ally has run out of usefulness for the traitor and killed him.

He seems to have proven this by a public display of the body and a declaration that he is a true God and that those who worship him will be spared. I...this storm is his work, as your companions have shown. He intends to make an example of us. I've already ordered word be sent to the other houses and my people have received word that there are ships on their way to evacuate who we can. We'll have to continue this discussion later." As the Senator and his guards head out, the Star Barrier men and women stay put, though they have relaxed. Some, in fact, were making calls to families while others talked quietly to themselves. Jason, disbelief on his face, turned to face his allies.

"This...feels eerily familiar. We must aid to the best of our abilities if we can. Trust me when I say that they are getting a better chance to survive than Alderaan did for me."
Jerus Je'and

"Those Mandalorians up there have been fighting for their lives against a Republic attack, so they might be a little jumpy." I still smile ruefully beneath my helmet until she shows us Jude's body, which turns my rueful smile into a sharp grimace. "That's...if that's true, then something's pushed him over the edge. Which only makes him more dangerous."
Jerus Je'and

I stand a moment and just look at what had happened along with the holes in the hotel. "I...uh...alright, well, I don't know what just happened, but let's go see who's in the shuttle."
Jerus Je'and

Blocking strikes from two separate droids, I push them back and counter attack, but find about as much success as Becca did, though the fact that we could cut into meant this was a derivative plating, like many of the others. Pulling back, I block and counter attack a third droid before grabbing the first two with the Force and slamming them together, the weakened chest plates shattering on impact and leaving their inner workings exposed. "Becca, blunt force!" Pulling them towards me, I spin and slash through their chests, destroying the droids.
Jerus Je'and

I grimace as she says she had them go begin wiping the data. "This is the last group here, the Republic's in tactical retreat outside. We just need to finish off this last major offensive and hopefully their ranks will fully break." The droids began to pick themselves up and turn towards us and I bring my sabers to bear. "On the upside, their handlers are dead, made sure of that."
Jerus Je'and

Coming around a corner, I back pedal just in time to avoid a violent vibroblade slash from one of the droids in the hall, which chases me around the corner and attacks again. Blocking the slash with my silver blade, I pull a plasma grenade from my belt with the Force and jam it into the neck socket after priming it as I'd lifted it. Jetting backwards, the high-heat explosive almost instantly turns the droid into slag as I jet around the corner and spot three more droids between Becca and I along with the ones she was engaging. "Never simple." Deactivating both lightsabers, I focus a powerful Force Push between the palms of my hand before unleashing it, knocking the three droids into their fellows to buy Becca some breathing room as I run over to her.

"So, I'm about done with these Sith Hunter droids."
Jerus Je'and

Running into the hall, I head for the stairwell, passing the makeshift medical bay with both sabers in hand. I was on level six and had three levels to get down. Meeting with Becca in the stairwell would allow us strength of three sabers, but if I went down the elevator shaft..."Bingo." Reaching the doors, I level my wrist and fire a rocket, blasting them open with a dull thud to those below. The elevator chassis itself was down a level, but that offered an excellent distraction. Or lure.

"Becca, I'm coming to you right." I level the orange bladed saber with the wire holding the contraption itself. "And, uh, be ready to push into the droids." A flick of my wrist sends the thing careening down towards the bottom of the shaft and after a count of three, I jet after it. Meanwhile, the droid handlers, as the position had been called in the official records, heard the sounds coming from the shaft and frowned.

"Wanna check that, Harold?" The one nearest the shaft sighs and nods, going over and prying it open. The effort takes a moment, but once it's done, he leans over to look up towards the noise, just in time for the falling hunk of metal to remove his upper body. The other handler, Transon, jumps back. "HOLY SHI-" The word is cut off as a blaster bolt lances from my pistol. Landing and looking around, I frown. Why hadn't they been with their droids?

"Sonova-" Sprinting, I head for the stairwell I could hear pounding echoing down the hall from. "Almost there Becca."
Jerus Je'and

Another bolt pings off my shoulder plate as I close with the pair of troopers and cut them down, my sabers singing as they cut through the armor and the men underneath it. Another Mandalorian, Geralt Fett, fought with me, his twin Beskad matching my twin sabers in pace. "You're needed at the command center." I grunt, deflecting another shot back at it's owner.

"And I'm needed here to help hold of-" The man cuts me off as he dodges another shot from a nother trooper, cooking him in his armor with his flamethrower.

"This battle is won, the Republic is just taking it's time. Go and aid in the defense inside. If you don't, I'll cook you next." I start to argue and then realize he's right. The gunships were flying in support now, trying to take out positions that we had secured without giving the anti-air a solid target for too long. Overall, I really was just wasting time and if we broke the attack by those droids...

"Fine, but if any of you die, I'll kill you." Jetting back towards the hotel, I opt to bash in through one of the windows instead of going through the doors, knowing that opening them would unintentionally present the gunships an opening to really do damage, plus it would get me closer to where I needed to be. Setting down, I shake my head to get the glass off me. "Becca, I'm coming to you, what floor are you on?"
Jerus Je'and

I duck behind cover again as the two droids unleash another volley of fire with support from the Republic troops behind it. "It's hard to say. The Republic's trying to hold until their droids in the hotel take the command center, but they're running out of troops to spare on this attack. I can't get away though."
