Then don't sexually harass women, call them sluts, or stalk them. Maybe then you'd have enough of a social circle to fall back on and cry to when people roast you for being the creep you are.

I'm hoping we can later see our characters using said Greek Fire-spewing flamethrowers.

Of course.
What kind of RP would this be without Greek Fire-spewing flamethrowers.
Yo.
Bummed that I can't be a Yahg, but I'll think of something.

me likes. I have another steampunk type genre game I am working on putting together, but I am highly active and I like to post often so I think this would be a good filler for me. I already have a character boiling up inside my head. Fire arms.. like old revolvers and percussion cap, muzzle loaders acceptable? Also, this is a high descriptive style? please say yes...Ah.. I see.. WWI. very good.. ixnay on my firearm question.. I am definitely interested.

To answer your question.
Firearms are of limited availability, even the simple stuff like one-shot black powder muzzleloaders, which, at the moment, is the best stuff you can start off having. This is a world where they're quickly transitioning from traditional medieval weaponry to really advanced stuff (I.E., Steamtanks, Greek Fire-spewing flamethrowers, mounted machine guns, alchemically-made poison gas), and even then, the advanced stuff is mainly used by military forces, whereas your standard mercenary is gonna be stuck with a one-shot pistol and a blunderbuss. Other than that, it's your typical medieval fare.
Blood For Coin
“It’s the Crusades, on crack!” - Kangaroo, RPG Mod

The nations of Terra have had a long, sordid history of bloodshed. And where there is bloodshed, there are those who’re willing to pay for it with gold. Recently, however, bloodshed is in high demand, with everyone from dukes to emperors calling for the services of mercenaries. As a result, the likelihood of the fragile peace between nations being broken is an ever-present possibility. A war is imminent between the nations of Terra, and it’s gearing up to be the bloodiest one yet.

In this time of conflict, enter The Sons of the Savage, one of Terra’s most esteemed mercenary companies. The Savage, as they’re called, are known for their willingness to do whatever it takes to fulfill a contract, whether that means the massacre of a village, or the cruelty of slavery. As a result, their reputation is one of terror, which combined with their propensity to accept only the most brutal of recruits, lends credence to their nickname. You, however, are not one of the Savage. Sure, you may have once been one of their number, or even been a veteran Savage, but that is no longer.

You are a free man or woman, once bound to the Savage and their company, but no longer. War has broken out between nations, and you have been left behind in the crossfire. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine, you wouldn’t have been accepted into the Savage if you hadn’t been at least a competent fighter. But these are strange times we’re living in, with strange new technologies accompanying them. Survival is harder than ever for those such as yourselves, especially in times of war such as these.

Knights following chivalric codes of honor, armored in full plate mail charge into battle against hulking war machines that spit death from every side. Mighty keeps that were once impenetrable fall to groups of hastily-trained commoners armed with handheld siege weapons that spray eldritch fire so hot it can melt stone and never cease burning. And most tragic of all, those practitioners of the timeless art of fateweaving find themselves choking on their words as they are assailed by weird smoke that burns the skin and silences the tongue. Indeed these are strange times we live in, but that matters not to one such as you. For you, this era presents you with an opportunity to gain fortune and glory, if you wish it. Which leaves you with a choice: Will you join together with other likeminded individuals and carve your own destiny as a soldier of fortune, or will you lay down and be content to watch Terra change without you?

TL;DR: A Dark Medieval Steampunk Low Fantasy World War 1 Mercenary RP.

Anyway, exposition over, this is an interest check for Blood for Coin, an RP of mine that I'm trying to drum up interest for. I've already got a few friends of mine interested in playing, and I'm actively working on developing the setting for it.
So, if you're interested in something like this, post here, mkay?

Schizo Dwarf, Raven’s Inn

Algrimm, while upset at the dismissal of his “art” by the Illusionist, still decided to go through with the man’s games. Heading past the threshold muttering to himself about philistines or barbarians of some sort, he heard the Illusionist’s warning about the guardian, a large feral cat of some sort. Wonderful, not only did they have to deal with the man’s tricks, they also had to deal with his pet. A pet which they could not kill, because human lives were so valuable. The thinking of these inferior beings confused him often, what with their concepts of “Morality” and “Ethics”. Any good Dwarf could clearly tell you that “The ends always justify the means, no matter how extreme”, because it was just a simple fact of life.

The...lesser beings, for that was what they were, lesser beings, of mixed blood and lineages. It was sickening that he would have to work with such creatures, but alas, some things can’t be helped. As for helping the others with the Illusionist’s pet, he was just as dumbfounded as the others. ”Well, I’m not a vet. So I’ve got no ideas other than kill the damn thing. Not like it’d be a huge loss. Just saying.”
Guys.
Guys.
Who the fuck cares?
