Hope. It was draining away quicker than alcohol in a crowded bar. She knew that she'd survive. Denise had a golem after all. She knew where they were going. And she kinda knew her father. But despite all her advantages, she was afraid that she might just blow someone up before they got there. Or at least make them leave.
"Aye..bodies might be useful, but they also get in the way, and on your nerves. They also attract attention," Denise said with a gruff voice before reaching into a saddle bag and taking out a bottle of alcohol and took a deep sip. She was probably going to need a lot more of that as time went by. They had barely left the city and she was already tired of this configuration.
She laid down on the golems back and closed her eyes. It wasn't the smoothest ride, but it was comfortable enough and it allowed her to rest and think instead of walk. Always left her prime for fighting if needs be. "Shit..." she said quietly as another realization struck home. Unless she was very discreet about her training, they'd all know. Along with her work in materials. She sighed deeply and decided to train lightly and make them underestimate her.
Denise was broken out of her thoughts as Rebecca started talking about the order. It was a story she had heard many, many times before. It was indeed surprising that Calieo did not know about it. But..the ignorance of this knight was indeed legendary enough to not know anything about the world.
She quickly grew bored though and decided to pass some time, by passing a small fireball between her fingers. Like you'd roll a coin from one finger to the next. Until she grew bored of doing that and decided on juggling a few of them. But even that turned into boredom after a while. So she decided on doing the one thing she had been putting off for ages, carving a few more runes into her gauntlets. It was a fine balance to tread. Too many and the gauntlets might explode, too few and it would not provide what she needed.
The era of the Old Republic is a dark and dangerous time, as Jedi Knights valiantly battle the Sith Lords and their ruthless armies. But the Sith have disturbing plans—and none more so than the fulfillment of Darth Scabrous’s fanatical dream, which is about to become nightmarish reality.
Unlike those other Jedi sidelined to the Agricultural Corps—young Jedi whose abilities have not proved up to snuff—Hestizo Trace possesses one extraordinary Force talent: a gift with plants. Suddenly her quiet existence among greenhouse and garden specimens is violently destroyed by the arrival of an emissary from Darth Scabrous. For the rare black orchid that she has nurtured and bonded with is the final ingredient in an ancient Sith formula that promises to grant Darth Scabrous his greatest desire. But at the heart of the formula is a never-before-seen virus that’s worse than fatal—it doesn’t just kill, it transforms. Now the rotting, ravenous dead are rising, driven by a bloodthirsty hunger for all things living—and commanded by a Sith Master with an insatiable lust for power and the ultimate prize: immortality . . . no matter the cost.
No one knows what has happened to the old Sith world. Not that there was a lot of communications ever leaving that godforsaken rock. Everyone knew that Scabrous was into the occult rituals even other Siths frowned upon. A team had been sent to investigate the school but had come up with nothing. No leads as to why it had been destroyed, part from that it had been destroyed by its own defensive systems.
As they left the world they picked up a faint signal. A signal that they had not picked up in the way in for landing at the academy. Something out there had a beacon attached to it. The team indented to find out why. They finally located the beacon, attached to a body that was floating in space. The Sith lord that had ordered the team here had been quite specific in bringing anything they found back to her. So it was just to suck it up as they tractored the body into the cargo bay before jumping towards home.
I'm going to leave this part open ended depending on what they players want. If they want to be on the retrieval team, on the final destination, or a space station on the way home.
Overview:
This is a mainly character driven roleplay. Your choices will have a direct impact on the storyline. Player characters can die if stupid choices are made. I will not hesitate to kill off a character if you give me a reason to. That being said, I will not go out of my way to do so. I am running this because I enjoy the freedom that this setting gives people to roleplay, and it allows for some awesome character development.
In this roleplay you will be deciding the fate of your character(s) and following their new life in the zombie apocalypse.
The first post for each character will be similar to a normal day in their lives, a few months before the initial outbreak. This serves two purposes. One, it allows for a decent introduction of the character itself, and two, it allows us to see the starting point of the character’s morality and values. Then depending on where we start, it will either be gradual, or holy shit.
It is intended that players will not be running solo throughout the whole RP, but you may if you want to. You may form groups before the start of the RP, but please update your CS when you do so that I may add them to the main OOC page.
Rules and Expectations:
- Standard guild rules apply above all else.
- Co-GM’s word is law, GM’s word is absolute final.
- The rules may seem harsh, however I consider myself a decent and fair person. I will respect each and every one of you the same until you give me a reason not to. If you are honest with me and don’t try and take advantage of me, we will get along just fine.
- It is expected that if you write a CS for this and it is accepted that you are committing yourself to this RP fully. If you are the kind of person that hops into an RP and bails a few posts later because you lost interest, don’t join. That being said, I’m not expecting a rapid rate of posts. Take your time, put detail into your writing. There may be periods where activity is low, there may be times where people are pumping out multiple posts per day. I intend for this RP to go on for quite while.
- On the topic of post frequency. Try not to double post (and I’m not referring to accidents or forum bugs). Allow around three other posts after your own before you post again. This allows a fairly balanced view of the group, and not clusters of certain people.
- Rock solid posting rules. Do not spam OOC. Do not @mention people in the IC, reactions should be based on the player reading all the posts. If I see that you’re not posting in this RP, but you’re active elsewhere on the Guild, I will boot you and kill off your character if a reason has not been given.
- Characters, keep em real. No person is absolutely perfect. People are flawed, RP it out that way. It makes for a more interesting and immersive experience. Your character will not land every shot on target every time, nor will they be perfect at every survival skill. This is not an action hero roleplay, your character may get injured. You are not invincible. If you RP it that way, I will take action.
- Any arguing or so called “debates” will have to go the PM. I will not tolerate any slander or any name calling in the OOC. It is supposed to be a friendly-zone where everyone can discuss whatever they want whether about the roleplay or real life. There is a strict “Three Warnings then You’re Out” system enforced by both me and any possible Co-GM’s. It is self-explanatory. Don’t be an asshat.
- There are no language or gore filters in place. It’s gonna get messy. This IS NOT for the faint of heart. For the romance stuff, keep it PG-13. If you feel the need to go further, fade to black on the forums. I do not care if you continue it on Skype or Chatzy or whatever, but keep it off of the forums.
- If you’re expecting to be fighting zombies in every post, with massive firefights and lots of gore, this isn’t the RP for you. There will be down times with no action whatsoever, but where character development and interaction is everything. There will be other dangers like lack of food, the cold and other people. Don’t get me wrong though. When we do see zombies, the shit will hit the fan.
- Do NOT post a Work-In-Progress CS here, only final ones.
- Pleading ignorance to the rules is not a valid excuse and I have no tolerance for it. I will kick you from the RP if you try this.
This is not a first come first serve roleplay. When you submit your CS I will review it, I will look at your past roleplaying history on the guild, and if you are new to RPing with me I may ask for a writing sample. Only after all of this checks out will you be accepted into the RP. Take your time with the CS.
Any special requests can be PM'd to me.
CS Template
Name: (First and Last, Middle is welcomed)
Nickname/Title: (Not required, but welcomed.)
Age: (Nothing too ridiculous, but have fun with it.)
Gender: (Physical sex, not how your character identifies.)
Nationality: (Self Explanatory. Also include which side of the conflict.)
Appearance: (If you are going to use a photo, use either a real photo or fairly realistic art. No anime/fantasy stuff please. If you aren’t using a photo, you must give an in-depth description of your character, around a paragraph.)
In-Depth Personality: (Both strengths and weaknesses included.)
Equipment: (I won’t be counting each and every bullet you shoot, but be realistic. Your character probably doesn’t have an armory in their backpack. List or paragraph form are both fine.)
Weapons: (Again, be realistic here.)
Force Powers: (I'll not allow a sith lord/jedi master, but pretty much anything up to that point.)
**By putting this CS up in the OOC for approval, you have read all of the rules and have agreed to have fun. Welcome to the RP, my friend :)**
**Post your CS on the OOC page for approval, alternatively PM me. Anyone placing unaccepted characters into the Characters tab will not be considered for this RP. Do not post work in progress CS's in the OOC thread, only finished ones.**
Other Information:
- It is recommended that you write your post off site in a program like Google Drive, MS Office or other. That way, if the site goofs and you lose your post here, you have it saved offsite.
- Collabs are not only allowed, but highly encouraged. Some good sites for these are Google Drive and Titanpad, among others.

This RP takes place sometime after the events detailed in the book. Despite Zo's best attempts at containing the "Sickness" by destroying the zombies planetside along with jettisoning Lussk and Tulkh into the void of space, somehow it survived. Remaining dormant within Lussk's corpse for an unknown amount of time until the corpse was found by pure chance. Now the "Sickness" has started spreading once again, intent on plunging the galaxy into chaos.
The starting point of the RP is not yet decided since I don't know the interest yet. That also includes characters which can be anything from a normal citizen to a jedi/sith. Most races from the Old republic era are also available for players to pick and choose from, including some robots.
This would be a mature zombie survival RP set in the Star Wars universe where your choices as players matter a whole deal. Do something stupid, expect repercussions for your actions. This is true for both sides of the spectrum. An action sets an equal reaction into motion. If this reaction is sudden or happen much later...well, that depends on what you do.
The RP has the potential to envelop the entire galaxy, but also remain contained to a single planet or ship. It all depends on the amount of interest that this thread brings about.
Denise felt watched as she was talking to Calieo. It wasn't that odd. Guards on the walls. The others in their party. Curious onlookers who were interested in their mismatched group. But this one felt odd to her. Denise closed her eyes and focused around her. Taking in the feelings of the people. Caution, fear, anger, pride, and...nothing.
She opened her eyes again and as if by magic the man from before dropped down in front of the group. When he started speaking it almost sent shivers down her spine. Even his voice was devoid. She had seen daemons with more emotion in their voices, officials even!
A deep sigh escaped from her lips. Her father would be so happy if she brought the strange man to him. Which was another reason why she really did not want him to tag along. She contemplated having the golem smash him to bits when Calieo agreed for him to tag along. Neither was she very keen on explaining herself to the man.
"Gods and whatnot be damned..." she muttered under her breath. This was turning complicated. She had hoped for a nice, quiet journey in which she could corrupt this pure soul to become her lover while at the same time follow through with her quest. But now, Denise was not so sure that visiting her father would go very smoothly.
She probably would never be given the chance to slowly turn Calieo into something that would not attack her father on sight, or vice versa. He would probably try to get ahold of the 'void'; and if these two others tagged along? She did not know enough about them or their motivations to be certain of anything.
The golem shifted uncomfortably as well. It was able to pick up on what Denise was feeling. Neither of them liked to kill those that they had grown close to. But just like the blood moon festival....this would probably end up in a similar fashion.
"Fine...whatever... I don't care.." Denise finally said in a angry, yet resigned voice and the golem reached down and put Denise back on its shoulders. "Calieo, hop up or walking, your choice, but I'm not making room for more.." Her eyes went across the rest of them, full of contempt. She wanted to get out of here before more people showed up.
Mother in law is staying with me and the wife along with 10 hour workdays drains strength. xD (got cookies, woohoo!) Got tomorrow off though so ill be posting then.
