She has a soft spot for music. If you focus on that- I think you'll be okay... Maybe. Lol
Lol. You'll have to convince Cerise. ;)
> I feel as though Hazel would start/join a sort of musical club. Maybe an in school band or just a basic music club, anything could work with her. > > I'll be posting in either today or tomorrow btws~ I kind of feel like it would be more interesting for her to want to start one. There could be a story as to why Northwood doesn't have one anymore (another horror story) and then go through the process of having to get a teacher to sponsor it.
[Musical Reference](http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vVTP0DOL_2Q) Her fingers lingered over the ebony and ivory and she could feel her pulse quicken. Elena slowly allowed her fingers to rest on the keys of the piano, thankful that the class this early in the day had few students. For a moment she allowed herself to look up at the people around her, a total of 6 pairs of eyes staring right back at her. Elena immediately regretted having looked up. "Elena.." A voice caressed her name, belonging to the darkest pair of eyes in the room; Miss Sonata. "Play what you have composed." Her words were soft and yet lacked tenderness, the statement worded as a command and not a request. Glancing down once more, readjusting the placement of her hands, Elena fixed her gaze of the handwritten composition in front of her. "This is a piece I've been working on. It's kind of sad and because of such - I think it is appropriate to dedicate this song to Helen." Her voice was barely above a whisper but she knew that she had the classes attention and they would have all heard her words. --- There was no hesitation once she stopped speaking and her fingers began to melodiously tickle the keys, a somber sound that filled the room. It felt heavier now that the class was thinking of Helen as the music filled their ears. Cerise could not help but smirk to herself with pride over Elena, wondering silently to herself if she had purposefully tweaked the higher keys to be slightly out of key. It gave the melody a severely eerie sentiment and Cerise could almost visibly see the shudders her students were trying to hide. Though, whether or not it was Elena's music or the dark stare Cerise was giving them that made them shiver was up for debate. Cerise knew this. And most days she ignored it. But summer had not been kind to her and her students had received the brunt of her sourness. Especially her normals. The hiss of the PA system seemed to break the room from its trance as Elena stopped her piece, packing her music into her bag and returning to her seat. As the announcements came to a close, Cerise dismissed the class early-asking that only Elena remain.
@IAmThea: Siaya Dragalorn has a very valid point. I wasn't sure what different information you wanted for the teacher profile. So, I kind of winged it.
Bump-ba-dump.
I can't wait! I've been out of the roleplaying game for a while and this one has me fangirl-level excited.
I think this is going to be very interesting once we get the ball rolling.
Isn't Ash a classically trained vocalist though?
--- Character Sheet: **Appearance** ![Cerise Sonata](http://38.media.tumblr.com/aada75f60a50ba517f78f48cd38bb686/tumblr_n1158hZ9p51s2ccqyo1_500.jpg "Cerise Sonata") **Name:** Cerise Sonata **Age:** Undisclosed **Normal or Supernatural:** Dhampyr. There are many fictions that detail the characteristics of this half vampire breed. However, Cerise has only a few select known. Her sleek knee length ebony hair is a traditional feature but her canines are not as expected. Most fictions describe the canines as being extremely elongated whereas Cerises are only slightly longer than those of normals. She can sustain herself off of both blood as well as normal food, though her hunger is sated for longer from feeding on blood. Her skin is very pale and if she goes too long without feeding can begin to appear translucent. Her body is also slightly jelly-like, implying that she lacks real bones. She is surprisingly not ice to the touch though nine would quite refer to her as warm either. Lastly, Cerise can be exposed to sunlight for up to 2 hours maximum within a 24-hour period, though she lacks a shadow. Any longer than that and she begins to visibly smoke and experience a burning-like pain. **Personality:** Cerise is a strange being, aside from her being a half-breed. At first glance, most would expect her to be cold and, for lack of a better term, evil. Cerise had the capacity to portray those traits, the same as anyone but what you'll find behind her somewhat menacingly appearance might surprise you. Cerise is extremely passionate about the arts, specifically music. She has an incredible sense of humor, though she rarely cracks jokes herself. It is not uncommon to find her smiling when she is found in the theater. The only exception to her "normal" behavior are the humans. Being a half vampire, she struggles with viewing them as little more than a food source. This causes her interactions with her human students to be a little more strained and to seem ruder than intended. **Bio:** Cerise shares very little about her past with others. She tends to focus on her time in France, her birth place. She describes a small coven predominantly of women housed in the ruins of a forgotten theater. Every time she tells the story, her eyes lighten to a shimmering emerald shade. It was there she practiced her art; singing and piano. The women raised her as if she were a full blooded vampire, never talking about where her mother/father or even who they were. Only particular Vampiress, Margot, indulged with her an indication that her father ran off when finding that her mother was with child. And her mother? Well, Cerise still isn't sure but she doesn't think that she's half human. Perhaps, there's a reason she's so musically inclined. Besides, she's been told to have the voice of a siren on more than one occasion. **Class Taught:** Music
