hi just wanted to let you know that an IFAK( Individualized First Aid Kit) is handed out to marines who aren't medics just in case they get wounded so they can hold out until then. Especially snipers cause they're usually alone or with a spotter.

@ZetsukoODST but I couldn't find the indivdual ODST ranks so I used a marine on. They have Corporal in the ODST if I remeber correctly. They should at least.

May I have your opinion as to why it shouldn't be used?

@VKAllen In the past when i was either running a halo rp or in one and someone chose to use a katana they tended to either be one man army killing machines.

And from an RP and lore perspective if there was a sangheili with an energy sword veruses a steel katana the sword would cut the katana like it was butter. And we are ODSTs fighting hand to hand with a sangheili the sangheili would win unless he were to get creative and not to mention shields it would only damage them a little and not taken out fully. Or a Brute chieftan with a gravity hammer, in Halo 3 ODST it took almost a whole squad in a cutscene to take out the cheiftan.

Those would be my points but again I shall leave it up to Thang.

My apologies, I'm British and follow our ranks out of habbit. British Lieutenant = American 1st Lieutenant. I shall make the change.

@ClocktowerEchos Your armour is fine, it's on the marine side of things, but it looks sufficiently tactical to me. If this were casual/advanced, I might be a little more anal about it, but in a free RP I see little point in hounding people over little details like that. <-- used "little" three times in one sentence, that's some awesome writing right there, boo yah!

Oh, and you've spelt it "Corperal". Auto spell check has caught me out with that a few times as well. It's Corporal.

I've nothing against an ODST possessing some kind of ceremonial sword, or an unofficial armament (think the marine in Aliens with the 21st century pump action shotgun :P), but as Nallore has said, it'd be pretty ineffective against Elites and above. Not to mention, you'd have to get close to the Covenant first to use it, and depending on whether or not your guy is Grey Fox from MGS, you might have a hard time taking on aliens that bear weapons capable of melting your armour and flesh in one single hit.

So long as you don't go all rambo, I've not an issue with it.

I've got a couple of nit picky issues with your app, and they are:

1) Unless I'm mistaken, the guy is Russian, but has a Spanish name?

2) "has family history with Spetznaz" doesn't really come under appearance, move it to Other: instead :) Also, it's Spetsnaz (I didn't know it was spelt that way until a few weeks ago) but not that it really matters.

3) "Would rather sacrifice himself for the mission instead of getting shot" sound awfully similar to me :P You mean he would rather sacrifice himself for the mission, than die pointlessly? Who wouldn't? Have a go at re-wording it, just so's I know what you're talking about; use child speech if you have to, I aint half as smart as I sound.

4) Tone your rank down. A lieutenant colonel isn't going to be found wandering around with a sniper rifle; that's more of a command position. Depending on your character's prestige as a marksman, I'd aim for Lieutenant and below. Oh, sorry, FIRST Lieutenant and below.
