[The One]

"You've heard of werewolves, vampires, zombies and ghouls? There are tales of ghosts, witches and warlocks. Anime of kitsune, necko and Inumimi. There are myths about dragons, phoenixes and griffins. However, what if I were to tell you that all these creatures really did exist within the human world? Follow me and you'll learn how to live with these legends."

In this Rp, you can be anything. Dragons, phoenixes, human, kitsune, neko. You name it, and you can be it. Hey, you can even be a god damn pony for all I care. (MLP is awesome. Brohoof) But this isn't just your everyday school Rp. Both humans and the mystical wield powerful powers, such as psychic abilities. Powers to control fire, water or air. The power to talk to technology! again, pretty much anything that isn't God Mode.

Once again, this isn't just your average school Rp with powers. There is a secret within this academy. It has a dark origin. Some may not care, while others may decide to neglect their studies and investigate further into the dark side of the Academy. Many questions have rose, for example, why is it hidden in the sky? That, and many more.

You get to have TWO powers, however it is optional! If you have TWO powers, then it will be harder for you to master both, and will take a lot longer. For those who have one power, they only need to focus their attention on one thing. They will master their power much faster. So basically, One power will be stronger short term while Two will be stronger long term. What do you want to do?

For Room numbers, I will assign you all a room number and pair you up. So for now leave it blank please. For Alignment, you are either good, bad, or neutral. Now I don't mean bad as in killing everyone, I mean bad as in being a jerk, or breaking rules of the academy, etc.

Academy Rules

1 Never, under no circumstances, must you go near the abandoned building! If you are caught outside campus and near the building, you shall be sent off the island immediately without warning!

2 You must be at class on time, if not you will get a warning, three warnings until you are punished, though you shall not be taken off the island. If it carries on, then you will be excluded.

3 Do not use your powers outside of the training room, and do not fight other students unless a staff member is supervising.

4 No vandalism!

5 What the master goes at all times!

6 You may leave the campus and explore the island however will do expect you back before midnight

1 You can go to the Abandoned Building, as I know some of my characters will be heading there at some point. You can also leave and explore the island.

5 Two powers maximum, the more you have, the harder it is to control them. Teachers has Three powers.

6 If you are inactive for 3 days I will post for your characters to keep you up to date and continue the story. If you are inactive for 5 days we will take full control over your characters and unless you can give a good reason for being inactive for that long you shall not regain control.

7 You can be as old as you like. However, the older you are, the more likely it will be that this is your second or third or fourth year. Etc etc. Either that or you could make a teacher if you ask me.

Appearance: Kaito is one of the humanoid demons who resemble humans too much to even be mistaken for a demon if he doesn't use his powers. He stands at a height of 5'7" and weighs averagely for his height. He has white hair and blue eyes, which turn a bright red when he uses his power. He has an average body type, not too muscular but not too chubby either. He is often seen wearing a suit with a tailcoat, checkered slacks and black dress shoes. Underneath his coat is a white dress shirt and a necktie. On his hands are white dress gloves and atop his head is a tophat. He looks very formal most of the time thanks to his upbringing. Although when he does have a need to go casual, he's often seen in a shirt, cargo pants and rubber shoes. Over his shirt is a black jacket and he still has his dress gloves on. He always wears a golden pendant with rubies encrusted on it. Inside is a picture of him and his sister.

Personality: Kaito is generally a chill person. He is often perceived as lazy and unmotivated because he just loves lounging around. He can't keep up with energetic people and claims that the energy is being sapped out of him when people around him are too energetic. Although he can follow them if need be but you won't find him like that any time soon. He doesn't worry about things too much but he still does good in them. When someone approaches him, however, he greets them with a small smile and would entertain whatever they came for. He likes his responses short and straight to the point but there are times where he goes off in tangents. Because of his interest in the dead, he had taken up necromancy and summoning. Because the two is quite closely related, it shouldn't pose too much of a problem. Because he is brushing up on necromancy, he is often seen in places where there are dead people. So generally, the graveyard, catacombs and such when he's off school grounds. He can be seen walking around the more populated places but he spends a lot of time there. Many have been weirded out by this but soon came to accept his weird nature. He treasures his sister very much and appreciates having his pet around.

Bio: Kaito is born under a noble family with a twin sister resulting in a rich upbringing. He was taught a lot of things, most of them being etiquette and things you need to know when you're a noble demon family. It isn't too insufferable and he managed to survive through that. Because he is quite ominous and gives off an intimidating vibe, most demons tend to respect him as the son of the Baron. However, the same could not be said for his sister Ai. She received a lot of insults and just overall hate, saying that she isn't fit to be the daughter of such a famous demon. Considering that this was the demon world, it was normal. Neither his father nor his mother stepped up to stop the insults because they had to keep up appearances. At home, though, they treasure her as much as he does. Ai understands why they're doing it so accepts it. Kaito couldn't. He was the one who stepped up and stopped the people from ever spouting anything bad of Ai again. The insults stopped for a while but came back soon after since Ai still couldn't prove herself as a capable demon. He would often stand up for her but found out that she was still being bullies when she was alone. Life just can't be perfect huh?

Time passed and things went on as normal. Their family was a caring one and they lived pretty happily. One day, the King received reports of a creature attacking natives. Seeing this as a threat, the King ordered Rei to take care of it. Rei ordered his children to get rid of the monster as their first test. The two accepted happily. They travelled for quite a while and found the monster's den. It was a shapeshifter. After some time of fighting and talking, the twins emerged victorious. The shapeshifter was named Rav and became their pet.

• Baroness Ivy Chigusa [Mother] - A demon from the middle classes. She doesn't hold much power to her name alone. She has a sharp tongue and can hold an argument and win, even against the king should the time come.
• Ai Chigusa [Twin Sister] - A shy demon who sticks by her brother most of the time. Often perceived as weak and incompetent (both because of her nature and her small stature), she has become a laughing stock in the demon world. Unbeknown to others, however, her skill in magic is rivaled by none in her age.

Pet Personality: Rav is often silent and being around him gives people a feeling of dread. He is loyal to Kaito and Ai. He is a cunning and smart animal who picked up the human language and is able to speak it when he chooses to. Originally, Rav is a feared animal but was put down by Kaito and Ai when they were kids. Now, he serves them loyally. What makes him feared was because of his ability to stalk people and swiftly strike them down. He usually sticks with Kaito, coiled on Kaito's right arm and would often poke his head out of the sleeve. He prefers the snake form but can be seen in other forms. No one besides Kaito and Ai know his true form.

Personality: As a golem, Fuchs has less understanding of human emotions and feelings. He has a desire to feel those emotions, but his first and foremost priority is serving his creator. Fuchs likes children and finds their imagination and simplicity to be a very important part of humanity. His view adults is that they are harder to understand and he hopes that by going to the academy he will learn more about what it is like being more human. He does have a dark side and that his vengeful nature to those that hurt people he cares about. His scary appearance and powers as well as his fondness for pranks has given him a little bit of a bad reputation.

Bio: Howard Von Heinsworth was a scientist who believed that one could mix the wonders of science with the mystical arts to achieve amazing wonders. His peers thought he was crazy and his family were scared of his dabbling in the occult. His desire to make a golem of animatronics and give it life through the mystic arts made him an outcast among the scientific community. While building the golem his son came to visit him in the lab and a malfunction in the equipment caused his son's death.

Howard's wife divorced him and took their other kid away and he was left was nothing, but his work. In a state of depression he made his golem with scary features to resemble his darkened soul and slight madness after all of the horrible things that happened to his life. After finishing the animatronic body he then began the ritual and was able to give life to his creation. After all of his long and hard work and terrible loss, Fuchs the animatronic golem was given life.

Fuchs had the curiosity of a child and Howard treated his creation as if it was his son. As a side effect of the mystical power flowing through his animatronic body, Fuchs had supernatural powers and had the abilities to create and manipulate fire as well as being able to move about stealthily like a phantom despite his animatronic body. After a while of keeping Fuchs a secret, Howard heard about a school where maybe Fuchs could learn more about human emotions with other strange beings.

Fuchs hopes that his stay at the academy will help him realize his dream of understanding humanity.

Most of the time, she'd fall under Neutral Evil. She cares little for such concepts as 'good' and 'evil', and generally just goes about her life without regard for such things. She more or less looks out for herself and cares little for others, but she's not going to seriously go out of her way to ruin someone's day.

That said, at times, especially if someone manages to successfully piss her off...well, Chaotic Evil is right up her alley. You do not want to see a spirit of Greed/Gluttony pissed. Srsly. That's bad. Don't do it.

Appearance:
Standing at a fairly average five foot six, Eirwen isn't all that physically impressive, and doesn't have many muscles and weighs at barely 120lbs, nearly bordering on underweight no matter how much she eats. Though, that's not peoples first impression when they see her. If anything, it'd be her rather long hair, and its unnatural coloring. White on one side, and black on the other, unevenly split down the middle which would probably annoy the hell out of an OCD person. The next, would be her ice blue eyes and her almost ghostly pale complexion.

After that, they would probably notice the perpetual scowl and dark bags under her eyes, suggesting the girl gets little sleep for whatever reason. She does, in fact, suffer from chronic insomnia, which may play a part in her perpetual bad mood. There have been attempts to try and fix this, but it seems magic and even drugs aren't much of a cure for it.

Additionally, if one were to touch her hair, they'd find it'd feel oddly...soft. Almost fur-like in quality. Tends to wear rather warm clothes, despite her liking of the cold. Often thick robes that are rather extravagant.

Personality:
In a few short words? Grumpy, easily annoyed, and generally could honestly care less about you and your problems. Cold as the ice she wields, some might say, as stereotypical that might be. Not her fault, really. On average she only gets about two hours of sleep every twenty four hours, at least that's her excuse. She generally keeps to herself most of the time, and only interacts minimally with other people, and any time someone does she will simply stare at them blankly before promptly telling them to get lost in the rudest manner she can possibly muster.

She is, however, incredibly loyal to those she calls friends and could possibly even be motivated to do something other than sit around make fun of others for her own amusement.

Tends to be a bit of a glutton, and is a bit on the greedy side.

If pressed though, and if she was honest - all she'd say she wanted was to be able to sleep peacefully.

Bio:

There's not much to mention here, really, save perhaps for her families origins if you know anything of the Wendigo though, you'll probably at least have a good idea of what happened. Similar to werewolves, Wendigos used to be human, though once wendigos turn into the monsters they can never usually go back. Eirwen is a bit of a special case, in that regard thanks to her father. Eirwens family has long watched over a forest to the north, an old, cold place where many old rituals on 'sacred land' took place. Over time, these rituals were forgotten, but people still avoided the land because of tradition - and a small bit of fear.

When Eirwen was a child, she wondered into these lands, and got lost. Cold, afraid, alone, and almost starving, she wanted something - anything to eat. Well, it just so happened that this sacred ground was home to a spirit - the Wendigo, and it possessed the child. Her parents searched for her, but unsuccessfully. After a string of disappearances in the area though, he doubled his efforts. He knew the family legends well, and had a pretty good idea of what happened.

He tracked the beast, and using old rituals and magic, sealed it. He had saved his daughter, but she was never the same after that. The beast had a rather obvious effect on her disposition. After being unable to do anything to help her, they sent her to somewhere they thought could help her just a bit.

Power 1:
Inhuman strength. She can probably lift at least three times her weight without effort. Her small form belies great physical strength, but its tiring to use so most of the time she doesn't force herself to do anything unless she has too.

Power 2:
Cryomancy -
Additionally, she is able to control ice. Ice spears to the face tend to hurt. Not to mention freezing someone solid on the spot.

Wendigo Spirit:
She is in fact, a wendigo - at least partly one. Trust me, it is not pretty to see her get angry. You think werewolves are terrifying? Please, those guys are puppies compared to this thing. If she is unable to suppress the blood in her, well...you'll have to deal with this:

When transformed into this beast, the only known way of her reverting back to her human form, is either knocking her unconscious, or somehow calming the beast - by putting it to sleep. It stands at a tall six foot seven, with an emaciated stomach that can never be filled no matter how much it consumes.

Hot weather, loud noises, crowds, being unable to sleep, being kept from her food, fighting.

Appearance: Irvine has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes (couldn't find a image match :( ). In order to complement his personal use of his powers he prefers to wear darker colours of blue's, browns and black to help him blend in more naturally with his most comfortable environments. He always wears a belt that has several leather straps which act as a sort of holster / sheath for his weapon the shadow hilt.

Appearance

Personality: Irvine is typically a quiet individual who would rather keep to himself than become involved in group activities or discussion. His lack of interactions with other people or species has him sometimes speak his mind without consideration for consequence or feelings. Both of which compound a shy, almost silent attitude of a person who'd rather speak with action than words. Despite this anti-social shell, Irvine will slowly open up as he develops trust for individuals.

Bio: Irvine's past is just short of being a complete mystery with little known about his early childhood or pre-teen life. He never had any direct family and never knew his parents being abandoned as a newborn. All efforts to track down his origins by either himself or others has always resulted dead ends, leading to the current status of any family he does have being a completely unknown variable. Constantly moved between different foster carers Irvine never developed any meaningful relationships, either through a lack of desire or deliberately preventing its on set.

By the time Irvine had come to realisation of his powers he was fending for himself and constantly moving, although typically remaining within a self-designated radius. Within his time alone Irvine grew comfortable with the general lack of being around others, typically hanging around within the constantly dark alleys of busy towns and cities. People who had claimed to see him on multiple occasions grew accustomed to referring to him as 'Shade' due to how his shadow un-naturally stuck to his body as though it was actually him who was the shadow. However despite this phenomenon Irvine has always considered himself human, his ageing and appearance were both that of a human, allowing him to move around easily in general populace. But he couldn't shake the feeling of a faint calling that maybe, just maybe, he was something more.

Weapon: Shadow Hilt - A hilt for a weapon, which alone or in the wrong hands is completely useless. The hilt serves as a material component, and through the use of his powers Irvine can use it to form basic weapons formed from darkness/shadow energy. Currently he has managed to muster daggers and batons, and when given enough time a short sword. The hilt itself is somewhat dull there's a particular lack of any distinguishing features other than the craftsmanship of the metal that forms it, there's a void within the pommel usually filled with a decorative gem yet on this hilt no such gem is present.

Appearance : The first thing you will notice about Ceres is her white hair ( a result of the curse, she had brown hair before) and her ash mauve eye’s. She also wears lether gloves that prevent her from burning everything she touches.



Personality: a girl that loves to stay away from other humans. She comes over as shy but she isn’t, she is just hiding herself afraid to hurt the people she cares about. Ceres is a good friend that cherishes everyone she calls close and will even kill for them to save them.

Bio: Ceres has lived a fairly normal life until her 14 birthday when she accedentaly damaged the grave of a witch. Because of that she became cursed and can turn into ash and she can control flames( the latter is still not a thing yet for she cannot control them) Her father and mother are both still alive and run a flowershop. After the accident at the grave however she started to distance herself from her family for she was afraid she would burn them with her curse she could not control. She has wandered the streets more than she was at home and loved to fight. Her elder sister is the one she wishes to protect the most for she is the only one Ceres can rely on.

Personality: Alon is a man with a misson, a clear goal in sight. To kill a witches and anything related to them. Ruthless and and evil, he will do anything to reach his goal. He does have a heart underneath his evil appearance.

Bio: The son of Frize De Salazar and born into a clan of witch hunters. He has Always killed them with no remorse whatsoever. His hunt became more personal though when his mentor, Balthazar du Rugues got killed by a witch. Ever since then he went rouge from his clan and traveled from town to town just to kill witches. He is a religious man who prays to god and confesses his sins every week.

☩ Personality: How does one describe Sasha Walker? To the people around her, she’s known as a constant delinquent that causes nothing but trouble. To her small number of friends, she can either be an avenger against bullies and a protector of the weak, or one’s worst nightmare.

Growing up in a household that steeped and emerged her entire being into justice, and so continues to punish those who torture the weak and defenseless today. Even so, it usually doesn’t take much to piss off Sasha anyway, and those who do end up with a fist to the face and several other parts of the human body.

More often than not, she’ll lets her fists do the talking for her and can appear naïve at times, making her vulnerable in diplomatic situations and unable to compromise anything without losing her cool and punching something. Sasha is also known for her foul mouth and nature for delivering stinging insults to those who challenge her. She hates the idea of anything controlling her without consent, and will not hesitate to teach them a lesson if need be.

☩ Biography: Sasha Walker considers herself a devout fighter of justice. Therefore, every battle scar, broken nose, bloodied eye, and won battle is all in the name of the righteous. With her father once known as a well-renowned lawyer, Sasha often takes the path she believes to be right. Unfortunately, these paths usually lead her into fights on the street and in school thanks to her own stubborn nature.

This rather simple lifestyle would soon end quickly however. Relatively young at the time, Sasha lost her entire family due to a great inferno that engulfed her house of residence. At the cost of merging herself with her family’s secret, a powerful wolf spirit with the ability to manipulate fire itself, Sashe was the only one spared to live. This resulted in the young girl being horribly and permanently burned on one half of her body.

That was years ago. Now she’s a student at some fancy school for people like her, people who were gifted incredible powers and skills to progress in the world. While that’s all well and fine, Sasha suspects the fire that ruined her life years ago was committed through fowl play and is dead-set determined to bring whoever is at fault to justice.

☩ Powers: Sasha’s only power is possible through her body having become a vessel for the wolf spirit residing inside of her. As such, she is able to generate and manipulate fire as well as use it for a variety of features. Furthermore, the angrier she gets, the more unstable her powers will fluctuate as she does not have full control over her family’s secret despite these long years. Because of this, she will become more feral and bloodlusted when pushed to the brinks of frustration on the emotional spectrum and this is reflected in her fighting style.
