In the Republic-shattering aftermath of the Trade Federation's victory over Coruscant, a Fleet Admiral by the name of Kell Zaine reorganised a large portion of the broken remnants of the Republic's scattered fleets, and took them to Sartinaynian in the Outer Rim Territories. A fortified world, though still in its infancy, Sartinaynian offered Kell the time and means he needed to fight back against the Trade Federation.

Despite lobbying the other self-appointed leaders who had formed in the wake of the broken and leaderless Republic, Kell found himself unable to convince them of the need to launch a decisive counter attack and to retake Coruscant. "The people," he proclaimed, "need hope. A victory over Coruscant will give them just that!"

Crouscant however, was a glassed ruin. Her billions of inhabitants mercilessly killed, her vast urban space no more than rubble, and her industry now non-existent. His peers rejected the plan, and he found the senior officers amidst his ranks were likewise against it. To many, it was simply not worth the risk, not when Sartinaynian could be defended indefinitely.

Frustrated, Kell turned to darker powers. Dormant Sith agents had been drawn to him by his lust for a continuation of the war, and by his apparent hatred for the Trade Federation. They knew in him was the man they needed to further their own cause. In his darkest hour, they provided him with fine promises of victory, and of justice. He accepted their help, and in return, they silenced the senior officers who were trying to wrestle the control of his fleet from him.

It took Kell a decade to establish an iron grip on the Braxant Sector. Many had tried to stop him, and many had failed - no thanks in any small part to his Sith allies. With their help, he established himself as Supreme Commander of the Braxant Imperial Fleet. To dissolve of the animosity from the ranks, he elected twelve of his most senior and promising officers onto the Council of Moffs, and gave them the false power of vetoes over his decisions, and the illusion that they had some control of his actions.

In this time, Sartinaynian, now aptly named Bastion, had been transformed into an industrial powerhouse. Kell risked near-economic collapse in swelling his fleet by scores of ships, and once he was ready, he led his war machine against the Trade Federation at the Battle of Coruscant.

The battle was fierce, and Kell was out numbered three to one. Through superior understanding of battle tactics, he defeated the Federation decisively, breaking their hold over the entire sector. They fell back, but beyond the sector's borders, they are regrouping. His open alliance with the Sith has also brought him animosity from not only his own subjects, but from other entities who seek to undo all that he has strove to achieve.

The RP will start with the Corusca-Braxant Empire in its tenth year. Civil disturbances have been put down by an iron fist, and all live in fear of the Supreme Admiral. He has by now reached the age of fifty-five, and although is healthy, no one is entirely sure who will take the helm when he passes away. The Sith have flourished in Imperial territories, with their own institutions fully endorsed by Kell.

The Imperial war machine has been gearing up for another run in with the Trade Federation, and has now assembled two mighty fleets. The Coruscant Fleet is primarily a defensive force in nature, using older ships than the fabled Black Fleet - Kell's untested but nevertheless feared main battle force.

Coruscant has been repopulated, and redeveloped, but is many, many years away from reaching its former glories. Duneeden, Utrost and Weerden have been transformed into factory worlds, with their sole aim being based in ship production.

With the fall of the Republic, hundreds of sectors now had to fend for themselves, even more so for those in the Outer Rim Territories, what little presence the Republic had in the Outer Rim had now once for all was lost. The first few years were particularly harsh for the peoples of the Outer Rim, Many sectors now engaged in warfare amongst themselves, both out and within, others under attack by pirates and raiders, and the Trade Federation was slowly encroaching the southern regions. Few sectors were able to stand tall against the chaos, Grumani was among those few. Following the Republic's Downfall, the Leaders of the Grumani Governments immediately begun to organize a plan for the coming years and t push out the CIS presence in Grumani. Simultaneously all the systems in the Sector rose up in open rebellion against the CIS garrisons, The rebellion, while successful, was very bloody, many losses were taking, but it was a necessary sacrifice. The Grumani Sector soon became a sovereign entity and as such, they begun to fortify their borders and militarize. As a first step, The collective Planetary Security Forces of the Grumani Sector were merged and reorganized into the United Grumani Armed Forces, three months after the formation of the Military, the leaders of the Sector officially announced the establishment of the United Republic of Grumani, with Ventruun proclaimed Capital of the United Republic.

For a good few years, seven years after the fall, the URG along with few others were shining beacons of Hope and Order in the Outer Rim. Worlds, systems and sectors looking to them for aid and leadership, and with Grumani along the path of a few of the Hyperspace Lanes, it also became a Center of Commerce and Trade in the South. This rather short time of prosperity came to an unfortunate end once the Trade Federation begun an invasion of the Grumani Sector, after years of carving through and covertly controlling the Southern Mid Rim sectors, the Federation launched an all-out attack on the Northern Stellar Border of the Sector.

The first five months of the war were bloody for the URG, as they fought a losing Campaign for the Aquilaris System and were slowly pushed back by the superior numbers of the federation. Despite the losses, the United Grumani Military continued on the fight against the Federation till the soon-to-be-famed War Hero, Admiral Risa Kanu, would take command.

Under her leadership, morale improved for the Grumani Military, for what they lacked in numbers, were soon made up for her guerrilla tactics. For a month Kanu's fleet was slowly wearing down the Federation Invasion fleet, while the Ground Campaign on Aquilaris Minor had been effected by the sudden turn around as federation ground forces were now without Orbital support and no constant flow of reinforcements, giving the garrisons stationed on the planet the much needed morale boost to push back the enemy.

It wasn't long before reinforcements arrived for defenders, the Grumani Navy and Army were able to put up an fight against the federation in the famous Fourth Battle of Aquilaris Minor. Hundreds of Ships on both sides locked in fierce combat over the planet, while the Grumani and Federation Armies fought their final battle at the Capital City of Qinlo. The Space Battle lasted for nearly a day, while the battle for the Capital City lasted for a four days.

In the aftermath, the Grumani United Republic was victorious, but the danger was far from over. For the last Twelve years, the URG and the Federation had been in a permanent state of war as the two sides often engaged each other, from small skirmishes, to full blown battles and campaigns.

In the present day, thanks in part of the Aquilaris Campaign, the URG has emerged into Regional Power status as it struggles to survive in a chaotic Galaxy.

Overview: The Ishkar Consortium is an rogue nation composed of the remnants of the Gen'Dai race, led by the Ak'rathal clan leader "Mercurius". Existing from the shadows of the Deep Core, the Consortium grew in power and rebuilt the former glory of the Gen'Dai race in secret. For thousands of years, the Consortium gathered resources and connections from the other sectors of the galaxy to lead up to the power they have now. By the end of the Clone Wars the Iskhar Consortium holds a massive amount of influence, power, and resources from the Deep Core to the Core Worlds. Unlike the reputation the non-Consortium Gen'Dais established, they are well disciplined, philosophically enlightened and organized.

Due to the Ishkar Consortium's isolationist mandate, direct contact with the rest of the galaxy is prohibited. As a workaround to this mandate, a forward operation called Kuvari Syndicate was formed.

Brief History: Founded in 350 BBY as a commercial guild with it's own trade fleet. It was lead by the viceroy and a directorate. It become one of the largest trade organizations in the galaxy providing shipping to and from the outer rim. It was able to control massive star route and systems under it's control through the flow of trade. With how much power and sway the Trade federation had it was able to gain a seat in the senate. Eventually the neimoidians came to dominate the Trade Federation. Nute Gunray was able to kill the 6 directorates who stood against him and replaced them with his own puppets.

In 28 BBY under the influence of Darth Sidious he lead a blockade over Naboo. His reason within the senate was to protest the tax on the Free Trade Zone. After being thwarted by the jedi and learning that the sith now lead the senate he easily rallied to Count Dooku's call on Raxus Prime and was the main investor in the CIS armies.

In 22 BBY when the clone wars started he was on Geonosis along with his separatist council members. He was able to get away and began leading his own campaigns on countless worlds throughout the clone wars. When Dooku left the CIS and General Grievous took over he protested highly against letting the general lead the CIS however he was out matched and continued to lead the council.

When the glassing of coruscant came he was less the happy he knew the planet was key to winning the war and that it would split up the various systems. He was even less happy when the General took most of the power out of the separatist council. However the republic was defeated and he lead the galaxy in trade even if they didn't want it. His influence grew and many star systems whether they liked the CIS or not needed him and the goods he could deliver.

He may have lost some systems here or there but his trade influence was limitless and the General proved to be a great enforcer of the CIS which also meant an enforcer for the trade federation. Currently he prepares warships on the edge of the Corusca-Braxant Empire's border along with developing new weapons.

Other:Nute would be considered 2iC to Greivous as he gave the most battledrois and starships of all separatist council he was also the leader of it before it was destroyed.
