Personality:
Once young and innocent, Harleen was naive and completely unprepared for her alliance with the Circus of Crime. Ringmaster immediately assessed her and pegged her as someone he could manipulate and play with along with the other members. He used his cunning, manipulation skills along with his fierce intellect and astute personality insight to trick Harleen's sympathies into living a new life. Since that day, Harleen has been on a mad rollercoaster ride with the circus after she broke into a costume shop and developed for herself a new look, becoming a jester and recreated her name to the clown character, Harlequin. She willingly assisted the circus into stealing from their audience of their wallets and valuable items after Ringmaster hypnotizes them.

Her snapping point into insanity came that after numerous performances and criminal heists, she became obsessed to the circus, claiming that her life was centered around them, even allowing Ringmaster to continue with his leadership. Since then, her motivation to crime was a desperation and she had an insatiable will to destroy their enemies. Harleen was then prone to extremely violent mood swings. When she's upset or angry, her fragile mind can respond savagely, flying into frenzies and attempt physical harm upon herself or others. Although she has not killed anyone, she is potentially homicidal, unaware of the consequences of her actions.

After being convinced by Trickshot to betray the circus during one of their biggest crimes, she accidentally-on-purpose got them all caught. Fury saw something in her and Trickshot while they were being arrested and offered them a place in SHIELD, which they accepted. Going under the persona as Hawkeye, Clint later joined the Avengers, but Harleen was put in solitary confinement so she could be treated of her mental condition while being under Ringmaster's control. After months of treatment and therapy, Harleen turned slightly stable. After joining the Avengers, Harleen regained faith in herself and she used her insane and playful actions as merely fun and games. She may be a kind, sweet, and gentle, but her aggressive battle dementia brings out everything, making her a very unpredictable opponent towards her enemies.

Background Information:
Harleen Quinzel was raised by a harsh, forgiving mother, who constantly compares Harleen to other people. Her younger brother was a dead beat, along with children from two different women who still lived at his mother's house. Harleen sent him several large sums of money to get his life on track, but he ditched it. Harleen's father was a criminal con-man, known for swindling women for their money with his charm. She was so dull in her education, she tricked her way into college where she achieved a master degree and where she developed her skills in gymnastics, accounting for her acrobatic abilities displayed later in her life.

Thinking that her boyfriend, Guy, was looking out for her, he shoots an innocent man, believing him to be "murdered" professor who hadn't died yet. Guy thinks that he can`t live with the guilt, and wants to die, but can't bring himself to suicide and asks Harley to kill him instead. And she does, for love, disguising the murder as a suicide. Traumatized by these events, she begins to believe that the universe is in a constant state of chaos. She represses her feelings of sorrow, and eventually bumps into Ringmaster, the leader of the Circus of Crime, a band of circus performers who use their abilities to steal from their audience. She feels safe after he calms her of her fears. Lying to her that he believes in some of the same things and that he would give her a better life, he influenced her to join his circus and she willingly accepts. Harleen made up her new persona name from the French clown, Harlequin, turning her current name into the alias of Harley Quinn. Becoming a circus clown, she transformed herself into a jester to make the audience laugh with her childish and humorous actions.

However, through numerous performances and criminal heists, she began growing an obsession to the circus, claiming that her life revolves around it. Harleen's personality began to shift while she worked as a clown. Instead of being strong and independant, she became violent and childish; becoming a delusional psychopath. She made an interest in a fellow circus member named Trickshot, a name Clint Barton went by before he became Hawkeye. The two became good friends and they became close. The circus meets Ant-Man while he was watching the circus performances and when he went into communication with Ringmaster. Lying to him, Ringmaster convinces him to steal money from the city bank, until he realized they were criminals and betrayed them, also making Clint take a shot to the head with one of his own smoke arrows, causing Clint to hold a grudge toward him. Ant-Man notices Harleen, knowing that she was innocent and tried to convince her to run away, but she refuses. This encounter has made Scott distantly attracted to Harleen. Overtime, Scott keeps visiting Harleen at her trailer at night without her knowledge or permission. He keeps going on about her freedom, but she insists that the circus was her family and that she couldn't leave them behind. Giving her a chance to stay alive especially in fatal situations, he injects a toxin into her bloodstream that would allow her to be immune to most toxins and poisonous chemicals; also allowing her to have enhanced strength and stamina to survive normal fatal accidents.

Clint convinces Harleen to betray the circus during a heist, causing them all to get caught. But Fury saw something in the two of them and offers them a place in SHIELD, which they accepted. Hawkeye later joined the Avengers, but Harleen was put into therapy in order to cure her mental instability. After months of treatment, she eventually turned stable. After joining the Avengers, she promises herself that she would use her playful ways for fun and games instead of causing harm. Her new life was reborn as she successfully began to blend into the family.

Thor is brash, young, and humble who sometimes places puts his best foot forward. He could, on some occasions, act a bit childish such as fighting with the Hulk over a cookie. But in battle, he uses it as his own definition of fun. Due to his mighty power and appearance on the outside, he has developed a sense of humor on the inside. He is quite compassionate towards his teammates and he would sometimes find the right words when it comes to their ups and downs. Hawkeye and the Hulk are also Thor's rivals in the team. Though all three are rivals, they can be friends when they need to be.

Black Widow can be characterized as secretive, mysterious, and tough as nails. She is shown to show feelings and a trusting friendship with Hawkeye, as he was formerly her partner but still a close friend. Black Widow is a true asset of the team, she has shown to be the kind of person to keep the team together and remind them of their places. Although she is a fully-fledged and respected member of the Avengers, she is only literally with the team when it suits her and when it counts.

Personality:
Vincent Valentine seems to be well known to be a cold-hearted person. Back in his military career, Valentine didn't seem that way. He was a good kid who was kind to his peers and people when most weren't kind to them. He kept his cool even when someone insulted him. In battle he kept his cool, got the job done and seemed wiser than most. When a plan didn't go as planned, he would make it up as he went and make sure his team made it back home safely, leaving no one behind.

However, after a classified mission gone wrong, Vincent was honorably discharged, his medical records saying he was not fit for duty (thanks to SHIELD) and came back not only as a war hero, but his personality changing dramatically. Cold-hearted, not exactly caring unless it met his needs or just wanting to tag along. Seeks out revenge, and is silent most of the time. He spends most of his time in a book, reading up on science though he does have good knowledge in the subject. Vincent has a bit of a temper when face in some of the most frustrating of situations (or really stupid people) and though doesn't like to show it. Valentine seems to also keep alot of his thoughts and personal life to himself for he feels no one needs to know unless it absolutely has to be said. Vincent will take any secusion he will ever get until he is put on a mission with other people. His military provodo will not leave a man, even for Vincent so if he is paired with anyone, then he will make sure that they will get back alive. There wasn't much in training for the ex-Marine.

Background Information:
Before his time serving for his country, Vincent Valentine was your average kid but you was in foster care a good chunk of the time going from one house to another. So he always changed schools. But out of every house, he learned to respect his elders and always be polite no matter who it was. He even stood up to those who could not stand up for themselves. He would even get into fights which the foster parents didn't like, and after so many wouldn't be able to take it and have transfered to another home. When he graduated, he joined the Marines at the age of 18 spent his training, figuring out that he was good as a sniper as well a melee and persude into getting familiar with many other weapons. Said weapons above were his favorite and kept up his skills in those.

However, at the age of 23, Vincent Valintine had been kiddnapped during a mission was MIA for 6 weeks. Later to have been found by his team, described him as a tortured and battered soul that seemed like an animal when they approached him at first. Later him being in a hospital with many serious wounds and what looked to be a gem embedded in the middle of his chest. Doctors afraid to surgically remove it, any reason could be made, however the most likely of reports said that whenever anyone tried to do anything that meant the gem harm, Vincent would lash out like an animal and try to kill them. The gem is well unknown to anyone except for Valentine who said it was a gem that housed a God known as Chaos. Vincent declared that he would be better off not in the military due to these events and wanting to go back home where he would not cause harm to his friends and family he had in the military which even doctors advised that should be honorably discharged, be given the title, War hero and live his life as a civilian, checking to specialized theropists and doctors to check his conditions and specialized forces to survay his surroundings and him so the right responces could be made, being SHEILD. Vincent having agreed to these terms was then sent home once better and given his own home where he then percude the teachings of science and mythology to better understand the gem and find ways to not only harness it, but control it so he could harm no one.
SHEILD saw potential in the young man as they servayed him and thought to better help him. Vincent was confronted by Nick Fury and told him what they knew and how they could help. Vincent thought about this for a while before he had accepted the terms of partnership, helping them in return. Even giving him his space when he wanted it but making sure they would help him understand his new nature and when he was needed to handle certain missions that they were careful in providing. But there was the occasional times he would be requested to try and engage in social activities and events which he is normally quiet, reading and rather well kept to himself. But is self aware with all that is around him.

Personality:
Cocky, quick-witted, arrogant, and impulsive, it is quite hard to imagine someone like Hawkeye being part of the Avengers. Due to his more negative aspects, like his brashness and smart mouth, it's hard to not forget his childishness and trying to piss off his teammates at every turn by pulling pranks on them. Quick to point the problems in a situation, for example, he's the first to realise that they fight like themselves instead of another, or telling Tony that they can't help much with his technology, meaning that they might need to add another brain to the team. He also dislikes Ant-Man, who returns the hate. They appear to have a rivalry when it comes to Harleen, each of them trying to get her attention. He also showed deep regret of his past as a member of The Circus of Crime.
