Congrats on the girlfriend thing. Also, just spend time together. Neither of you should fall into the "must buy literally all the things for my SO!" trap. Time spent together trumps spending time with objects.

Nicely done! I always found that period leading up to asking somebody out and then finally doing it one of the most memorable things I've experienced. You don't need money to have fun, so don't worry! Best of luck moving forward.
