Black University: One of the nation's oldest and most respected institutes of higher education. Many a fine doctor, lawyer, statesman, and researcher. Many students aspire to join the school's halls. Still, the school holds a secret: each year, Black University sends out invitations to students for a very unique program.
Young men and women with a the gift of Sight are called out by Black for their most important program, as candidates to become a Reaper. Yes, behind Black University's facade as just another university, it is actually a facility that was implemented to help train gifted individuals to aid in the tasks of the Grim Reaper, and, in the case of a truly gifted student, to become the new Grim Reaper, and watch over the sanctity of the fallen.
Students of the program live alongside other students at the University, keeping the secret of the program while trying to live college life. Even then, not every student passes the program, some burn out and choose to enroll in the school's other programs, and worse yet, some pass away during the course of their schooling.
Still, to those who finish, there are rewards. Students who finish the program are granted the duties of a Grim Reaper, a fat paycheck, and an expanded lifespan.
And the fall has begun, and a new handful of students have arrived at Black University, and are truly starting their lives.

BIG NOTE: When you make your characters, remember a couple things, first off, keep your weapon down to a simple category, such as sword, scythe, thrown, spear, axe, etc. While I will be allowing custom or unique weapons later, for now the sheets should only have the weapon variety. Second, guys, I want this to succeed, so I need a writing sample before I accept ANY CS's. All I'm looking for is a 3-5 paragraph sample, it could be in character or copied and pasted from another RP, but I will not accept your sheet until I receive it. Thank you for your time.
Yeah, seeing as I've accepted 6 or so characters and aside from mine, none of them are male, I need a handful of male characters before I can start. I have 2 who've yet to be accepted, but until they fix their sheets to follow the rules, yeah...
In any case, a few quick notes:
-Weapons: A simple category only. No specifics. This is why I've got so many CSes in the first interest check that aren't being accepted.
-History: Students know nothing about reapers or the purpose of the School.
But yeah, that's it. Let's save this from becoming a Harem plot, plz!
