History: Grace learned of her strange powers at the age of 5, which was very frightening to her parents whenever she threw a temper tantrum. She became too much for the young couple to take, and she was put of for adoption at the age of 7. Because of her "Gifts" she was deemed "unadoptable" and bounced from foster home to foster home. At the age of 18 she was thrown out on her own to fend for herself. With little to no control of what she could do, she hid and kept to herself until she heard about the Institute and heard about what Professor X had started and done for all of the mutants. She showed up on the doorstep at the age of 19, and has been learning ever since.

Appearance: Grace is a petite girl of 5'4". She is of average build. She has sandy brown hair that comes down to the middle of her back. She has crystal clear, blue/green eyes. She has a pair of gray angel wings that she can tuck snuggly against her back under her shoulder blades. She can hide them under most clothing. Aside from the wings, she has a long scar under her right shoulder blade where one of her foster parents tried to cut her wing out.

Personality: Grace is quiet most of the time, but can become quite outspoken once people get to know her. Most people describe her as fun and loveable and always up for a challenge. She spends most of her time outside. She enjoys the fresh air, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the sun on her skin. She also loves to soar over the school when not in classes. She does not like confrontation and will shy away from anyone that is being mean.

Personality: Peyton prefers to sit alone either under or in a tall willow tree, away from people and away from all the noise and commotion. She has a slight attitude problem and she is not afraid to tell people what she does/doesn't like. She loves animals more than most people, and she has some slight trust issues when it comes to letting people in to her circle of friends. However, once you get to know here she is very sweet and soft spoken. She has an eagle eye with the bow, and can hit almost any mark with her throwing knives.

History: At the age of 18, Her parents were murdered by a rogue passing through their town. Without any signs of finding an egg for herself, and having no one else to turn to, Peyton applied for the Academy, secretly hoping to find somewhere that she actually feels accepted.

Personality: Ember is a free spirited young witch with a secret passion for the magical creatures that she used to work with in the Ministry. In her free time she studies the effects of muggles on the growth and migration of unicorn herds north of London, England and Napier, New Zealand. She also spends a great deal of time with her brother Flynn. Ember spent a majority of her time while in Hogwarts in the library or helping Professor Sprout. She has a vast knowledge not only of creatures but magically plants as well.

There are two things that she hates worse than “muggle-haters”, and that is people who underestimate her, and people that talk down to her. She may be small, but her personality and attitude make up for her lack of height. She keeps to herself mostly, but does enjoy joking around and having fun with the people around her. She is by definition an introvert, but does occasionally like the company of people.

History: Ember is originally from a village called Portree, Scotland. When she was 14 her parents were kidnapped and cursed by dark wizards. Her younger sister eventually killed herself because of the grief, leaving only Ember and her brother Flynn to fend for themselves. Flynn is 6 years older than Ember. (Making him 30 presently) After their parent’s and sister’s deaths, the two siblings packed up what was left of their lives and moved to London, England.

While in school, Ember determined that she wanted to work for the ministry and decided to start out small. She worked her way through the lower levels of the Ministry. Ember is still shaken up by the events that happened 10 years ago with her family, and she often has night terrors. Her personality greatly reflects all that she has been through.

Along with the emotional scares that have haunted her for years, ember also has several visible scars that she constantly tries to hide. There is a long, thin scar on her forearm that was the result of a sudden apparition. She was splinched before reaching her destination. She was trying to escape a hazardous situation involving centaurs with a friend from the ministry.
