The world of Kyr was once a beautiful and prosperous place, covered in green grass and lakes. There even used to be a giant ocean that ventured all across the western hemisphere. Trees and forests litered the lands, the sky was a pretty, bright blue. It was a place that everybody enjoyed, the nature kept them all sane, kept them close. Despite there being multiple nations throughout Kyr, there were few wars or feuds. They all got along splendidly.
But recently, an evil force invaded Kyr. Spirits, ghosts, apparitions, whatever it is that you would like to call them, began to take control. They entered and consumed the souls of the governments, of innocent people, of every living thing on the face of Kyr. Their presence killed the trees, leaving them dead and hollow. Sometimes even the trees could be heard whispering to the travelers.
The spirits had slowly crawled from person to person, destroying the beautiful lands. It was said that it'd happened once before, thousands of year in the past. But only a group of brave adventurers could take them down and restore Kyr to what it once was.
Supposedly, the head spirits had taken control of highly regarded government officials and took to hiding. There were rumors of the first head spirit located in the Leshburg Castle.
Leshburg was known to be one of the biggest castles on Kyr, not to mention the deadliest. While Kyr was generally peaceful, Leshburg was located in a land of orcs. It just so happened that orcs were the most violent of all residents or Kyr. The castle, ridden with traps, would be a difficult journey to traverse, but the only way to learn the location of important leaders of the spirits.
Will there be anybody willing to help aid the restoration of poor Kyr? Will there be any brave souls who would take down the spirits?

So, would anybody be interested? I'm thinking of maybe four to five people would be nice. I did a very similar plot years ago and people seemed to enjoy it, though it was on a different website.
It'd be GREAT if we could allow the use of injury or even death. Makes it more entertaining, know what I mean? And maybe if you are killed, you could come back as a spirit sort of thing, but obviously on the good side. Unless, that is, you can come up with a better idea, then I'd be all ears!
