Hellos all around, one and all. This is an interest check to see who might be interested in a cross-universe/galaxy roleplay bringing characters from Halo and Starcraft into the Star Wars Galaxy over a span of time stretching between the events of episode 2 and 3. Many well-known canon characters from the Star Wars galaxy will be present, making their merry way through the events of those episodes while your characters...who will be Jedi, Clones of all types, Spartans, ODSTs, Marines from two different galaxies, Protoss, you name it...tip the balance and force the masterminds to rethink their schemes to include the new aces on the field.
To make things more interesting, characters and factions may not find it expedient to join the Republic. The Confederacy of Independent Systems is an equally valid power to align yourself with, and while it is expected that soldiers and spartans follow their chains of command, the local commanders are not obligated to join the Republic or find the Jedi to be a good sort of intergalactic meddling secret service.
I myself will be taking command of pre-existing characters such as Chancellor Palpatine, Darth Sidious, Count Dooku, Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and I think you get the picture.
Another aspect of note: Death WILL HAPPEN. I have every intention of killing off characters. Yours, mine, other main characters, you name it. In the event that a human-controlled character dies, the person behind it will have every opportunity...and is in fact encouraged...to use another. But I will be trying to kill people. ALL the people.
Finally, I have every intention of continuing this RP for as long as possible, until the galaxy falls under the sway of the Dark Side forever or the heroes start reforming the galaxy into a hybrid of the UNSC and Terran Dominion policed by the Jedi Order. That means I'm going to want committed RPers who don't foresee their falling into the trap of killing off the RP. On my part, I will try to do the same...can't be that hard, I don't need to be creative, I just need to pull all the strings. >:)
So that is this interest check while I start drawing up the intro posts and signup sheets and whatnot. Who's interested!?
