Hello, everybody, how are we all doing today? You can call me Aurelius or Aurel for short. (Not not that, get your head out of the gutter!) I signed up for this site because: First, I enjoy roleplaying, and the group I previously played with has fallen apart leaving me to float hopelessly adrift in a sea of boredom. Second, I also enjoy writing independently, and am currently working on a book of my own, thoughh I don't hold many hopes of it being published in the short term; I have always found roleplay to be an effective way to practice creative writing, as well as to find your own inspiration when you find yourself suffering from writers block. Admittedly, sometimes I make the mistake of using all of my inspiration and willpower in my roleplays, funny how that happens, isn't it?
I actually signed up for this site about 1 month ago, but as life tends to do, it immediately swamped me with IRL drama before I had any chance to actually participate in any sort of discussions, whatsoever! Now, however, life has finally calmed down to a point where I hope to be able to actually get some quality roleplay in! I have been roleplaying for several years, and judging by the criteria that this site seems to go by I would rank myself as somewhere between high casual, and low advanced, though with proper inspiration, I think I would likely write at a mid-Advanced level.
As for the types of Roleplay I'm interested in, most everything can catch my eye, depending on the idea, and the presentation; though I'll admit to having a penchant for Fantasy, punk-esque type roleplays. The only roleplay I can think of, off the top of my head, that I try to avoid is Fandom roleplays. Keeping that in mind, I have absolutely zero problems in roleplaying in a pre-established universe.

I hope this has been helpful, and enlightening for any of you who bothered with reading this :D Also, I'm sorry if I wrote a bit too much for an introduction, I've been told I have a habit of either not saying enough, or of saying to much. Either way, I'm looking forward in getting to know you all, and hopefully participating in some awesome roleplay!
