It was the day of the wedding. Small flower bouquets lined the pews along with beautiful white silk linen. A few guests spotted the beautiful church as they waited with baited breath for the bride, the groom nervously staring at the priest. They were taking a big risk, but this was what Elizabeth wanted. They were madly in love, a forbidden love but love nonetheless.
Even though they knew that their lives were in danger Elizabeth's mind had been made up and once that happened there was no way in hell anyone could possibly change it. A cold perspiration had begun to form on his face and lower back, the possibility of things going horribly wrong weighing on his mind. But as he turned to see her for the first time since last night every negative feeling and thought left him. She was beautiful, the vision of perfection, yet inside behind that smile she too was nervous though for different reasons.
The musicians had cancelled last night and so she had been up late trying to find a replacement, booking someone who she knew would either be a god send or a train wreck. Not to mention she was worried that her dress showed off her assets too much and that if she got emotional her makeup would be ruined. A barely visible red dot was upon her forehead, a man in a grey overcoat waiting for the right moment to shoot.
The groom was the heir to a multi million dollar fortune, and the bride... Well, she was just a commoner. Not to mention the fact that he was a vampire no less, a pure blood no less! Vampires ran the world, and humans were treated like garbage that could be disposed of at any time. This wedding was a secret between their closest friends, yet one of them had betrayed the couple in order to gain money from it.
That was why the man in the grey overcoat was there, to make sure that she was taken care of just like he had been hired to do by the groom's father. It all happened so quickly; The sound of a single shot echoing throughout the room, blood splattering all over her stark white dress and the polished floor, and the shrieks and cries of terror from the guests. He rushed to her side, biting her in order to try to save her but it was all for nothing. His beloved Elizabeth was dead, gone from him forever.
Well, or so he thought. A hundred years later it was the anniversary of Elizabeth's death, and though he had remarried he did not love the woman he shared a cold marital bed with. He knew he could not provide her the love she so desperately desired from him but with the way she spent his money he doubted how much her love was worth. As he sat behind the solid oak desk that held his families crest on the side his ears perked up, hearing a loud crash of splintered wood and shattered glass nearby.
He raced out of his office, fearing that perhaps a vampire hunter had found them but instead what he saw before him caused him to freeze in place. A woman covered in mud, soaked to the bone from the storm and sporting an enormous amount of bloody splinters stood before him. But that pale skin and those red eyes, those soft red lips and her heart shaped birth mark that rested upon her left bossom told him exactly who she was. "Elizabeth?" He asked, bloody tears pouring from his eyes as she smiled that smile which had always melted his heart. "I'm home darling..." She whispered as the two just stood there, too afraid to move for fear of waking up. But from the shadows someone looked on in shock and horror, their secret that they had kept so close to their chest on the verge of being exposed in the light of day.
Alright, so that's the preview for this role play. Essentially we can discuss and add whatever we'd like to the back story of our characters but this role play will mainly focus on building a relationship between our characters while exploring their past together in flash backs. The plot of this role play is one I'd like to build with a partner so in private messages we can discuss further what will happen in the role play as the possibilities are endless and ever so dramatic.
