This forum is awesome as it is, but a couple of things (if feasible) might make it even more awesome imho:

A tab that is accessible by the GM and Co-GMs only. Currently the ability to just PM yourself is great to keep track of notes for different RPs, but I would adore the ability to keep these notes in a place directly linked to said RP, and to let co-GMs access it as they come onboard.

A tab for "World Information" or "Worldbuilding" or just "World" or "Info" -- currently a lot of us use the "Characters" tab or the first post of the OOC to keep lengthy worldbuild info where everyone can see it, but a handy dandy tab of its own would open up the possibility of organizing world information by posts and links.

A way to flag or separate certain subscriptions on an as-needed basis. I'd love some way of marking threads in my subscriptions with something that means "this thread is waiting on me." I have a lot of subscriptions, more than half of which are usually waiting on other people; separating out the ones that I plan to post to would save some brain space when I have time to sit down and write. (And maybe keep RPs more active, as "I forgot to post to this" is a common theme when RPs start lagging.)

Adding "Hug" in addition to "Like" "Laugh" and "Thank" on posts, for those times when a player is having a bad time and "liking" the post isn't quite appropriate. However, keeping track of how many hugs you've given and received from other players seems a little wrong -- unless there's a way to leave hugs off the tracking boards in profiles.

All of your suggestions are good, but the above is usually handled by the first (few) posts in the OOC tab, not the Characters tab, in my experience. It's where everyone who looks to join the RP starts and many GMs take advantage of this by putting the whole application process, along with any relevant information about the setting or the world, in that post. Having a separate tab for this wouldn't be useless but I doubt most people need one.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. Although, I don't think it would be a big deal for hugs to be tracked. You can give a hug for many other reasons besides comforting someone who's having a bad time.

Only thing I'd have to say no on is Hug - I've seen forums get 4-5-6...7-8-9 emoticon types, and it gets redundant and too flashy after a while.

First ones, though, I could see as having decent potential.

For roleplays that require a lot of lore, I use Google Docs and add a visible link to it. You can make it easy to navigate with the outline or table of contents, you can edit in real time with collaborators, you can let RPers make additions that you have to approve first, and you can make out of bound comments on various articles.

It can also be used for your GMs/Co-GMs planning sheet.

Damn, I sound like a Google sales representative or something.
