"You heard the news? Half of England is flooded out!"
Welcome to New Dawn! The idea behind this is simple; after a mass flood in England, basically wiping out half of the country, heroes have dawned in the waters. Already personalities have dawned, with two standing out in particular: Aurora, a 'traditional' hero who's bright yellow and orange costume has already become famous, and Stalker, responsible for hospital workers being pushed even harder as looters and criminals turn up with broken bones and a distinctive 's' slashed into their shoulders.
You, who have been nurturing powers for a long time, has finally been given an opportunity to shine. Will you help out as another beacon, or will you become another whispered name in the criminal underworld? Or, perhaps, will you hire your powerful abilities out to the highest bidder in order to make that sweet, sweet cash?
Characters actions will have effects on the game world; if the majority of characters are brutal anti-heroes or supervillans, then regulation to monitor and control supers will be lobbied for, and anti-super protests will occur. On the flip side, if the characters are all heroes, then public opinion will be slanted in favour of them. So? What do you think?
