What do mobile users see when they try to upload an avatar?

In particular, what does this "Choose file" button look like? What happens when you press it?



Are any mobile users able to use the avatar system at all?

This isn't something I'm able to test since I use a basic phone, but it surprises me that smartphones allegedly don't support the most basic <input type="file"> html.

This is on my Samsung Galaxy Note II using the Chrome app. Works just fine (layout is a little wonky though -- and I'm not talking about the cropping of the screen, I just zoomed in for clarity).

Using a Windows phone, Mine is honestly different...

I can't really screenshoot it (don't know how) though I can describe it...

The file bar is a light blue color and the "Browse..." button is written exactly like that and is on the very far right. I also can't upload images from my phone to the site (never could so that's not a big deal) unless I'm using an imgur ap first.

Honestly its light, it does all that I need it to do (remind me I have college & lets me get on internet) and for some reason mine is literally indestructible (dropped it off a 2 story building once on accident, ran down to get it in a panic, still perfectly fine)... So I see no real problem with it.

Yeah, I switched to this one from my phone. There was a bit of wonkiness with me trying to post from my computer right after. I think I had to refresh the page on mobile for it to go through. I even clicked the Remove Avatar button after I refreshed to try and make it work but when I did it suddenly changed from my old one to this one. Idk.

It's probably just a fluke on my part.

Also, fun fact, my other avatar gets blown up to what looks like the same width as everyone else's when on mobile. It makes me extremely happy to have the extra large avatar.
