I've seen a few interesting theories regarding Skyrim's Dragonborn, as to where he ends up in the Afterlife. I've heard one regarding essentially the first daedric lord/first realm he travels to is where he belongs, essentially being "property" of that first place/entity. Kind of like, first dibs. If you pledged to Nocturnal before any other Daedric lord, or before visiting any other realm, for instance, she would claim "ownership" of your soul.

Another theory I heard is that, since they're basically going to die with 100+ dragon souls, they'd use this to "barter" with said entities of the afterlife. Interesting, but i'm not sure on this one. Sure, Hircine would probably wage war with other Daedra just to get ahold of a few dragon souls to participate in great hunts, and think of how much darker the shadows would be under Nocturnal's guidance with a few of them as well.
but in the end, it'd probably just turn into an all out ethereal war between the cosmos, each Daedra probably ripping apart the Dragonborn's own soul just to get more dragon souls than the other.

I've come up with one theory myself.

What are some of your theories? I'd like to hear other ideas players had on the concept.

A:
The Dovahkiin tries his best not to create any contract, if he does, it would be only to one. Afterwards, the Draedra Princes just refused to do anything with him as his soul was already sold.

B:
The Dovahkiin end up as a Daedra mercenary of sorts, his debt is changed from his eternal soul(s) to his eternal favor, in that the Princes he owed debt to are able to ask favor(s) from him from time to time. He'll be another force equalizer in the Daedric Princes table.

C:
The Princes felt cheated that the Dovahkiin has no integrity and had promised his soul to everyone. They refused to have anything to accept him or allow him to any sort of afterlife, proving to be the one instance they even agreed on something. The Dovahkiin ends up drifting in the eternal Oblivion, unable to enter any Afterlife he qualified to due to the Daedric Princes meddling and kept out of the Daedric Princes territory or any places they have influence on.

He's definitely got a huge debt to pay to Hermaeus. What with the taking advantage of the Oghma Infinium and usurping the throne of his champion. And of course, the amount of freaking power he bestowed to 'em.

The Dragonborn would likely be raised to divinity by the Nine, I should think.

I like to think there'll be a divine war over my guy's soul.

Made only worse when one considers the fact he's gone and helped Daedra, then turned around and butchered their entire cult before laying their corpses on their altars in their skivvies..

And yes, this is a thing I do.

Dovahkiin opportunistically leeches off the Daedra, Akatosh steals him with a troll face pointed at all of them.

Wouldn't that be a game? Forgo the theories being realized in front of us in otherworldly plains, instead, all the chaos caused after the Dragonkin's death projects war onto Mundus. A legend's passing made worse by unexpected ramifications. I wouldn't mind seeing a new hero who rejects the gods entirely, perhaps waging war against them in a way deeper and more difficult than hunting down local cults and what not. Being able to choose to fight for some form of balance (doubtfully successful) or perhaps to become divine yourself -- grappling for the power the Dragonkin is freely given and more.

That would make for an interesting game, or even an RP. Aren't the Aedra a bit weaker when it comes to mortal affairs though? I assume the Daedra would be creating most of the chaos.
