Well, going to try a new forum in hopes of finding more dependable and dedicated writers. I have been writing for about 42 years. My first short story for the public went out in 1974 where it took 1st place in a statewide contest. I haven't stopped writing since. Roleplaying was something I wouldn't discover for another 5 years. Until then I was pure hardcore sci fi and had never touched fantasy.
I still prefer sci fi.
But my tastes have broadened since 2000 when I started writing in online RP's. I enjoy Post Apocalypse (though zombies have been done to death - ugh, I know, bad pun). I enjoy Modern, Near Future or Anachronistic (a fancy way of describing something not in its own time).
I detest combat in most RP's as without rules for character generation or combat it all bows to ego and point of view. I tend to avoid depressing themes. I prefer groups that work together as opposed to PvP (which just points back to the whole combat thing).
I simply do not do one liners. Nope. So long as I have something to respond to, the shortest I tend to manage is 3-5 paragraphs.
