Two months ago, the civilian mining colony Olik came under attack by Dragons, while initial speculation pointed to Drakengard involvement intelligence indicates the Dragons originated from much closer, the planet Falos IV, previously we had assumed that most of the dragons on Falos IV were feral and incapable of space travel...however things have been changing on Falos IV, unauthorized contact was made with the native peoples by unknown agents.
Dragon worship was fairly common on Falos IV but now our embedded agents are reporting things are getting out of hand, one of the nations on the planet is employing "Dragon-Knights" to conquer other nations, while the natives seem to have methods of slaying them, They are being overwelmed and the planet is at war.
The Queen of the nation Irkini claims that her agents have revealed that an ancient dragon once thought dead has awoken, with our scientific knowledge of previous dragonic migrations we suspect this is Archon Caliprag, a dictator who was forced from her empire, she is raising an army of dragons in caverns beneath the surface of the planet.
Archon Caliprag must be stopped or she will likely conquer or destroy the native peoples before launching attacks on local systems, she is to be taken alive if possible. many of the dragon eggs have not hatched yet and destruction of these eggs will likely increase the racial tension already present and cause more activity from drakengard terrorists. We believe from her activities that she has not achieved full power yet but be on your guard.

Ok so, this roleplay is a military themed Sci-fi fantasy mix, Sorcerers and Spaceships coexist in this universe. Your characters will be playing the crew of an airship in this mission. Characters may belong to a variety of races.
Think Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, or Warhammer 40k.
Some setting information:
Falos IV is a planet that is for the most part roughly in the renaissance era, beginnings of astronomy, early studies of sorcery, refining of alchemical techniques. Early airships and firearms. It is divided between multiple nations fighting amongst one another for a variety of reasons.
Still deciding on what species the people of Falos IV are, it will either be humans or rat people.
The Mission is being undertaken by a Republic I have yet to name, they are highly industrialized and have mining operations in this system (which has caused some controversy as Falosian astronomers have found out). Multiple races exist within the empire including dragons. "Drakengard" is a political movement mostly composed of dragons seeking to restore some ancient draconic empire to glory, unfortunately it attracts quite a few dragon supremecists. Terrorist activities have been seen in some members.
