You like, well liked creepypastas. Mainly because you found most to be scary, even though these type of things and creatures can not exist. Whatever they are, they are clearly impossible to even exist. But tonight, you're letting your delusions get to you.
At least that's what you thought right before the man showed up.
It was late night, as you were on a chatroom site talking to one of your friends. It was boring as usual, but you had a sense of dread for some reason, rather an eerie feel. It was dead silence outside, and your room was dimly lit. Obviously, not the best idea, as you were being creeped out more and more by the second. Reading creepypastas while chatting did not help, as your friend usually liked to tease you about things like that. You heard a sort of thump outside your window.
Something just didn't feel right, you couldn't put your finger on it. But you felt like you were being watched, so you cautiously pulled out a little flashlight to give you more light than just your computer. A good idea. If anything comes behind you, you'll see its shadow reflect from the flashlight. At least, hopefully, that is.
You could've sworn you just saw a man in your computer screen reflection, but it's nothing, riiight? Just a bit sleepy and hallucinating, or just a bit paranoid. Right? Yeah, that's probably what you were thinking at the moment. But don't be stupid, you're acting like a dumb blonde horror movie protagonist that will probably trip on a carpet somehow, and scream casually to catch the killer's attention.
You're being a literal cliche at this moment, but you just keep shrugging whatever was keeping you scared at the moment away. Because it was no big deal, right? Did you just see someone move up the stairs in the dark? NOOOOO, that's impossible, you're mind is just playing tricks on you in the dark. That's what you keep telling your ignorant mind.
When the human mind feels watched, its usually right.
If only you knew that at the moment. If only you knew it. But nope! You were even too scared to call the police, just in case, not like the police would've gotten there to save you in time though. You see, the paranormal does exist, but you were just too much of a skeptical. And now you're in a pretty scary situation.
Oh no, what was that? Is that another tap on the window? Probably good just to ignore it, though.
The thing is, everything else was dead silent, no trees were close enough to that, and no wind could hit a window in such a physically hard way. It was nothing, right?
Yeah, it had to be nothing.
Riiiiggghhhttt?
Suddenly, your friend in the chat went to asleep turning his computer off. And someone random joined.
At least that's what you thought right before the man showed up.

The Game Master entered the chatroom.
The Game Master: Wanna play a game?
You: who r u?
The Game Master: Don't worry about it.
You: Are u trying to pull a prank, this is not funny.
The tapping happened again, but rather, harsher, louder. You gulped
You: what do u want?
The Game Master: To Play A Game. Just a game, nothing more.
You: alright, well?
The Game Master: Chose a game number out of 1 to 7.
You typed the number. Then the game master had left. Suddenly, rapid tapping, wait no? Those were footsteps in your house. The dimly lit lights went off, as you heard a distintive voice cackle with a horrible, dreadful laugh, you could see the silhouette of a large man, and you could see his smile, his toothy, friendly but also sinsister smile.
You then heard the last words you would hear for tonight, they were chilling, coming from the man's mouth.
"Time for the game, now."
Hello! I've just been craving the Twilight Zone and Tales from the Crypt, with a little bit of Darkest Dungeon in there as well. So I decided.
Why not make up an RP that would be an anthology?
You and other characters will be the victims, as I would be the 'Game Master'. The goal is to escape each horror story, or in this case, 'nightmare', without dying. When writing your post before doing something like an serious action, you must chose a number 1 through 7, as a piece of paper, or blood on the wall, will give you the choice of the numbers.
Your characters will most likely die, but your minds would be transported to your bodies, in an alternate reality, dealing with a different horror story.
Sounds neato? Right?
This roleplay will be rather gritty and gruesome, but also have that Tales from the Crypt campy pulpy 50's comic book horror vibe as well, and a bit of humor as well, because horror-comedies are always fun.
It's just a game, though, and nothing else. Join if you dare!
MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!-*ahem* Sorry, sorry, my Crypt Keeper is showing.
Anyways, hope this catches some interest!
