Bryce Lutzan
Super Hero
17
Speed wears a grey suit with some purple highlights. Speed’s suit is friction-proof to keep him from burning up as he runs. Speed also carries a sword called the Thunderblade. He is a fairly average build for his age, standing at five feet, eleven inches tall. Speed is fairly lean, due to his love for running. Speed has long blonde hair, and has striking gray eyes.
Speed’s weapon of choice is his Thunderblade. At first glance, the Thunderblade looks like a bladeless sword. But when Speed powers it up, it turns into a fearsome claymore with a blade of purple lightning.
Speed loves cracking jokes about his foes, which often gets him in a worse situation than he was already in. This carries over to his normal life where he will do pretty much anything to brighten up the faces of the people around him. Bryce, either when saving lives, or his grades, loves to finish things quickly, often resulting in half-done schoolwork, or foes that are either dead, or not taken care of correctly, leading to their escape.
It was in ninth grade Bryce first discovered his need for speed. He had ran Track since seventh grade and was at the top of his team. It was halfway through the season when his parents told him and his older brother that they were moving from the town Bryce had spent most of his life in. They were moving to a town called Jordan in Arizona. Bryce was devastated. He would be leaving all of his friends. Bryce began thinking of ways he could get to see his friends.
By the time Bryce had figured it out, he had lived in his new home for a year. He had decided that super-speed would be his ticket back home. And he had finally decided how to do it.
Bryce had always had a knack for technology and had wanted to be an engineer since he was nine. He had began working on microscopic robots that would augment his physical abilities to unbelievable levels. It took him months to perfect it, due to his tendency to rush and skip important details. He dubbed them Speedbots, and injected them into his bloodstream. Nothing happened for a few days and he began to fear the worst. School was starting and nothing had happened. Bryce was in his first class when he was noticed something. Everything moved extremely slowly, one second seemed like an hour, one minute, a day. He ran home and was back in class before the second hand moved. Bryce smiled, knowing it was a success.
