Welcome!
Howdy-do, friends and neighbors? How's it hangin? What's the word on the street? What's the happy-haps?
I'm Bayaz, and I'm back after a lengthy and unplanned hiatus. I'm fixing to write, so I'll make this quick and painless, yeah?
You can call this section 'rules,' if you'd like. But who likes rules? These sound much nicer as things to note.
- I’m okay with smut, so long as you’re 18+. We can discuss specifics, but just know that if smut is included, I’d like it to be semi-plot-relevant.
- If romance is present, and I sure hope it is, I really only do MxF pairings, with my main character as the male.
- As for doubling and what not, just let me know what you prefer. I’ve got no strong opinions.
- PM me, please. Or, if your heart is set on posting here, for whatever reason, mention me.
- I'm no grammar nazi, but whatever you write, please make it understandable. I'm also not a massive stickler when it comes to length, but try and get out a paragraph or two, at least.
- As someone who can be pretty inconsistent, I won't harp on you about response times. Take however long you need. Just, y'know, keep me in the loop if you don't mind.
- If you made it this far, then tell me what your current favorite song is when you PM me.
- NPC's are superfuckingawesome and they can make a story feel more 3-d. I like using them, and I sure wouldn't mind if you liked using them, too.
Now here are some plot ideas and pairings, ripped straight from my old interest check, because I'm a lazy asshole and it's midnight. I'll update it soon enough.
It seemed like every cause had a terrorist branch these days. Separatists and Ultra Nationalists and Insurrectionists and Religious Extremists and Economic Hitmen. Threats whose labels had lost meaning for the public at large. Multiple-death bombings were practically second-page news. Something needed to be done.
That “something” was the International Peacekeeping Task Force, the IPTF. Answering only to The United Nations, and completely impartial, the IPTF’s primary goal was to prevent and respond to conflict around the globe. This included assisting in and preserving diplomatic relations, fighting terrorism (in all of its forms), protecting civilians in times of conflict, assisting in “humanitarian conflicts,” like the overthrow of an oppressive regime, and things of the sort. Naturally, many folks didn’t like this approach to peacekeeping, and many civilians were afraid that the IPTF, so outside of national regulation, might overstep its bounds. Under immense pressure from the Superpowers, the UN reluctantly disavowed the Task Force. Every UN nation declared former IPTF members war criminals if they didn’t surrender themselves for a debrief.
That was four days ago. By now, all but two IPTF members have been retired, taken into custody, or killed. Those two remaining active members are our characters. They’ve survived this long by hiding out in a safe house, but the authorities are closing in.
(This will be a globetrotting adventure/action story, with romance as a welcome, but not at all mandatory, addition.)

They met in High School and dated throughout. They tried to keep it together after majoring in a field they love, working on the side. Character B worked, too, but also pursued a career in music (or writing, or art. Whatever. I like to imagine my version of Character B as a musician, but if you want to play B, you can do whatever the hell you'd like). They supported each other, but eventually, with financial issues weighing on them, B leaves town to pursue their career in full.
Four years later, B's back. Maybe they succeeded, maybe they didn't. Maybe they're looking for A, maybe they aren't.

Fandom RPing is something that I’ve done reluctantly up until now. I’m willing to give it a real go, this time around. However, I really don’t want to bring canon characters into this. OC”s all the way, here.
It’s a short list, I know, but fandom is unfamiliar territory, and I figured I’d stick to what I know best.
- RWBY
- The Division
- Destiny
- Dishonored

Here are some more generic romantic pairings that have either half-baked or zero plots behind them, at the moment. We’d have to hammer these out together.
- Short girl/Tall guy (I fuckin’ loved Toradora, alright?)
- Coworker/Coworker (In an office setting in my head, but the job doesn’t matter)
- Soldier/Soldier
- Soldier/Civilian
- Undercover Cop/Handler
- Undercover Agent/Undercover Agent (I figure they’ll pose as husband and wife, because sometimes, cliche is fun.)
- Rebel/Rebel (In a modern setting. I'm a sucker for revolution stories.)
- Mercenary/Mercenary (Picturing a modern Diamond Dogs/Militaires Sans Frontières-esque setting, but I could be persuaded to go Medieval/Fantasy)
