I'm looking for a partner for a RWBY RP set shortly after the fall of Beacon. We would be playing as students who have been separated from their teams and stranded in the ruins of Vale after the majority of surviving civilians and all combat personnel have pulled out. It would most likely follow our characters attempting to rescue others who had been left in Vale, avoiding White Fang patrols and stray Grimm along the way before most likely escaping the city in some way.
Optionally, I think it could be interesting if your character was a White Fang member (perhaps one that feels badly about the wide-scale destruction and indiscriminate death the Fall of Beacon and attack on Vale caused) or a student from Atlas. It would add some tension with our characters not fully trusting each other but also kind of needing to rely on each other to survive.
I will say that I don't know the exact details of what would happen inside the city or what our characters would be doing once they escaped. I would hope to collaborate with you to figure that out.
It's also important to know that this may be a more sad or 'dark' (though I don't particularly like that term) roleplay. After all, it would be following the chaotic aftermath of a national tragedy. That being said, it's never fun to have a story be depressing all the time and I will do my best to avoid that.
There are, of course, some things I should note:
I hate requiring romance...however, I would prefer it to happen eventually. Of course, if weeks into the RP such a thing doesn't seem like it would work without feeling forced that's not too much of a problem.
With the point of romance, I'm only interested in MxF, with me playing M. Yeah, I know. Sorry.
Don't expect me to reply super often. It really depends on how I'm feeling on that day, sometimes I'm lazy and don't feel like replying at all. Of course I would love if you could perfectly follow my random schedule and always quickly - when you pm me, tell me your favorite character from the show so I know you actually read this bs - reply to my posts, but I'm aware that's not very realistic so if you just don't feel like writing that day, it's whatever.
Multi-paragraph posts, please. There will no doubt be times when short, less detailed replies are preferred (like when it's just our characters chatting) but overall I'd prefer that not to happen all the time.
I'm very open if you would like to play a canon character, as long as it's a student. I'll be playing an OC, there isn't much in the male character department that interests me.
Help me out with ideas for the story. Yes, I'm the one who pitched the central plot and made this forum post, but roleplaying is still a 2-person activity. I am not your Dungeon Master or your Storyteller, make stuff up on the fly, brainstorm story ideas with me, let's make this fun for both of us.
Sorry you had to read all that garbage, but it's important to make the expectations known - and tell me what you hope to get out of the RP too.
