There was once a kingdom of man, ruled by a powerful being who knew no age. This being led his kingdom to prosperity, and become a shining beacon, a goal for all to aspire to become. As much as I wish I could tell you it ends there children, but this is a true story, and the truest stories rarely have happy endings.
The king did everything for his people, he gave them everything and yet they wanted more. You see children, the downfall of this kingdom was not war, death, famine or pestilence, but greed. In the end the king could take no more of the greed of mortals. The King gave them their riches, so he took them back. He gave them their homes, so he took them back. He gave the people their very lives... So he took it all back.
Do not fret children, for there is yet a light at the end of this dim tunnel. Even for all the greed and hatred held in mortal hearts, he found a sliver of hope, children. Children who against all odds and with nothing to call their own, still found wonder in the world. Children who, in even the darkest hour found a reason to smile and laugh. He found that mortals were not always such greedy monstrosities, and through this, through a child's laughter and wonder for the world, he spared them all.
Remember children, hold no greed in your heart and bear no ill will to your fellows, and when the world seems at it's darkest and everything is closing in around you, find a reason to smile, to laugh and be happy... For to live hateful and sour is no way to live at all.

Hello, idea here. I keep seeing these froup roleplays set around a fantasy world with grizzled mercanaries and adventurers ready to take on the world with physical and magical prowess alike.
And there I thought, what of children, a group often overlooked. What if, somehow the fate of the world, nay all of existance rested on the tiny shoulders of children? So here I am.
As should be obvious this far, all involved characters will be children, no younger than 12 and no older than 17 ( or the equivilent for the chosen race. ) Adding to their ages, I do not expect to see a child slinging spells to rival an archmage, be able to hit a rat in the eye with an arrow from a mile away, or snap a man in half. Children are also not fearless.
At the moment I simply want to see how much interest there would be for this sort of thing. Ideas and questions are welcome, as they will help improve the main idea and by extent, the roleplay itself.
