Punk Girl x Shy Girl.
This story line will deal with the following;
Racism, abuse, neglect. Implied drug use, sexual activity (Implied and preferably not depicted), interracial relationship, bullying, gender identity.
Y/C is a punk through and through. She comes across as cold and heartless, and she's in with the wrong crowd indeed. Her grades are poor, her attitude worse. She is one warning away from being kicked out of the school, and one more chance away from going to Juvie/Prison. Drinking, smoking, partying all night long. She acts out the best she can, for reasons not known to others.
M/C on the other hand is a misfit too. Born as "Charles McKenzie", she now goes by the name "Charlotte McKenzie", or just "Charlie". Shy and kind, she's the sort of girl who puts others before herself though she tries her hardest to be happy too. She has been using feminine pronouns and the name Charlotte for the last year or so, and is often picked on for it. Despite this, she still loves dressing like she does and refuses to allow anybody to stop her doing so.
Despite the fact they're from different backgrounds and social circles, our characters become the best of friends rather quickly when paired together on a project. Charlie adores her, and unlike some of her less.. pleasant classmates doesn't seem to care that she is African-American. Charlie likes Y/C for being herself, and for how fabulous she looks with her hair styled like it is, and the clothes she wears.
Its up to you why Y/C likes Charlie so much.
I kinda figured plot wise, it'd be romance between the pair. Exploring why they get treated like they do by some members of society, and the hate they get for the fact they're in an interracial, "immoral" relationship when they begin dating.
