So this is not about the typical flaws like stubborness or greed. It is rather about the kind of character flaw making you think "Oh God really" that in the end still worked out (in a way).
To start it of with two examples which are not mine, but funny enough:
- A highly skilled, well educated mage from an academy, now travelling with a group of adventurers. A nice guy - but he can only perform spells when naked. No he usually does not travel naked.
- A wizard again, but this time so vain and arrogant that he thinks himself higher than the emperor himself. Arrested for trespassing around the castle? Oh the owner is wanting an audience with him, he may allow it! Having to travel in a wagon with the group? Let's refurbish the cover by magically drawing his face on it! I guess the best so far was when someone was genuinely flirting with him. He did not pick up the hints, everybody loves him and it is usual to show this by annoyed glances and scoffs, why is she smiling so much?
