An avid Star Wars fan, one of my favorite periods is the waning days of the Old Republic. When rogues of the fallen Jedi Order, scattered remnants of the CIS, and other parties opposing Palpatine rivet the galaxy in states of conflict against the newly born Empire. This particular concept is set during that turbulent period, when the Empire is experiencing its “growth pains”.
Set four years after the destruction of the Jedi Order and the rise of the Empire, my partner and I will role as two rogue Jedi knights who barely survived the purge when they were fleeing from the temple on Coruscant.
As they escaped the temple in their ships, the pair were shot down immediately after liftoff, and my partners’ character went into a coma.
The story begins with my partner awaking after four long years in a secret base in the outer rim which houses rogue Jedi and other dissidents of the Empire. My character has basically thrown together a disorganized mob of rabble in an attempt to form a resistance movement against the Sith and their newly formed Empire. All while awaiting my companion to wake up from their slumber. From there the two of us will continue to build our army all while fighting against the Empire and attempting to rebuild the Jedi Order. (Ultimately failing of course in the end.)
