Alright, so here I am with a new thought for (fxf) romance:
In steampunk version of 19th century France, MC is an acclaimed stage actress who has loved in decadence and splendor as often as the opposite, she has seduced rival actresses in order to steal the show, and high society wives in order to receive their generous patronage. But now her current patron has demanded that she use her acting talents to steal an historical relic from the Musée du Louvre. YC is an English artificer of great renown, having crafted clockwork configurations to dazzle the public, assisted in streamlining the new golem technology, and designed some of the most legendary airships to date. However, this proud inventor returns from a rather standard evening out to find her mansion torn aransacked, and her private library torn apart in particular. Unfortunately the thieves hadn't left and she soon finds heeself waking up in a cell on an airship with MC. They've been taken by pirates on a mad quest to sail between the world's and plunder the land of the mythical Faerie Courts. These pirates believe that YC's knowledge and the artifact that MC stole can help them to accomplish this.
This can go in many directions but I was hoping for a good amount of romance to develop between our characters as we end up adventuring in the Faerie Realm. And I thought it would be fun for our charactera to eventually learn that they are both actually born of changeling blood but from opposite courts.
