It's been a few years since i kept up with roleplaying.
Even in gaming like i used to. All. The. Time.
My official RP hobby began when i was 11. Back when chat sites and servers were really becoming popular. Back when Yahoo! Messenger and AIM were big. I always claimed to be 13 so i could join and so chat RP. It was wrong. I Know. But, can't change the past. Right?
Any who, i stumbled around the internet looking for any story RP sites. Teen Spot, Yahoo, i even played RuneScape and Maple Story where people had made RP guilds for their characters. I was a writer and getting mostly real time responses from characters living their own story was amazing! Then the technology got better and things changed. I joined IMVU back when there were serious RP rooms ONLY and people had friends that were almost like real family because they were on there. It was crazy. Well then i discovered VampireFreaks forum roleplay, and Iwaku. At this point i was in my late teens, early 20's. Also during my 14-18 years i got introduced to Manga and Anime, did my best to learn manga and anime creation so i could draw for my stories, and have been a fangirl ever since. Anime is Love. Anime is Life.
I was homeschooled so i had plenty of library and internet time after age 15. After i moved away i was able to learn how to build my own P.C. and mod my Xbox 360. I started playing more online MMO games like Tera and Guild Wars 2. I never got into WoW or LoL, though i tried a few times. Anyway move forward about 5 years. I've become a massive Gamer, i now have 2 Xbox One's, a PS4, 2 Ps2's, a Switch, a 2Ds, a 3Ds, and a self built PC. I cosplay and have several OC writings and books I'm working on, and OC cosplays for them.
But i realized about a month or so ago, ever since my retinopathy surgery (behind the eye surgery, not lasik), i have barely written or drawn anything. And so. I got onto my Iwaku site. But i had to make a new account since i hadn't logged on in years. Well, down at the bottom of your profile you can select other RP sites you're on. And this one stuck out. So i looked around and decided i really think I'll like it here. Some stuff has changed
Like Discord and that stuff. But I'm hoping i can learn quick and really get back into some good RP's. I made a couple pretty nice ones back in 2012 of my own. And i hope to work a couple story ideas into new RP's. But right now I'll just be happy if i can find a couple good RP's as home.
I'm big into Fantasy, Supernatural (vampire, werewolves, monsters, angels, demons), Sci-fi, Cyber/Steam Punk, Medieval, Lore, History (some real history mixed in with new stuff or sci-fi stuff, fantasy stuff) Action, adventure. I don't usually prefer 1 on 1 or super quick paced RP's. I work 6 nights a week usually and if i do post it's during most human's sleep cycle.
So i can generally keep up with once or twice a day posting. But sometimes i can go a day or two in between. If i get going on a day off though i can produce several posts a day.
I enjoy deep RP's. Lots of backstory and lore, created worlds or universes and adventure or linear. I've become addicted to character creation in my video games, so i do like being able to customize my character to at least a fairly good extent. Why i don't tend to go for slice of life or plain human RP's.
