Just looking for some general interest in a slightly futuristic timeline, focusing on the training of young psychic soldiers. These individuals would all come from a motivated background, and would all be plotting some kind of further career in warfare or a related field, of some kind. (Military, private contracting, CIA, ECT). They would all be "screened" beforehand both for latent psionic ability as well as the physical skill needed to pass the course. The age range of the course would be around 17-24 for entry, as this proves to be the most fruitful times for developmental stages.
This whole course would essentially be following the recruitment stage of a black ops force, known as Nous Battalion, this force consisting 2113 PCO's, or Psionic Capable Operators. These operators would be trained more exclusively depending on exactly what kind of unit it is they are training to deploy to. Each individual has a unique psionic ability manifesting to themselves, while there are some more common types no two abilities are exactly the same, often possessing different latent natures or innate quirks. Differences also manifest themselves in the most simple way, of rankings. From D-S rank, this gives a general grasp on the levels of the ability, the three rank categories beings; Psionic Delicacy, Psionic Battery Reserves, & Psionic Battery Output. Giving a good look at usual current power level.
This is just an idea I'm kicking around so, let me know if anyone would be interested! I'd also need some help on the general plot and stuff, as I'm not too sure on any ideas as far as that goes yet. I'll come up with more world info and stuff if enough interest is seen!
