Greetings humans! It is I, the mighty Birdboy extraordinaire. I'm a young lad at the ripe old age of 21. I'm a fairly literate writer and excited to get back into roleplaying! A long time ago I was a frequent roleplayer here on the guild. Now I have a quiet place to write again and the drive to do it! In the past, I have been flaky so I wanted to be upfront about that. I am still rusty and I am not sure what my limits are. For now, I want to stick to smaller roleplays: Anything from a couple of paragraphs (2-5) to a single paragraph.
I am a slow replier at times but never be afraid to push me for a reply, I try my best to reply at least once a week, and I can usually consistently reply once a day but things happen. I am always happy to meet new people so even if you don't want a roleplay don't be afraid to chat! I am a very laid-back person so when you want something in an RP let me know!
Keep in mind when I am writing for an rp I am there for the story, so if romance or smut is involved I am fine with that, so long as it fits a narrative. Also, I don't want to go to prison so if you're underaged, don't rp smut, or at the very least least not with me. I prefer OC, so be aware that I will usually only do a canon character for someone I really like to rp with. I don't particularly enjoy replaying explicitly dark-themed roleplays but I am comfortable with it and willing to write whatever is needed to keep the plot juicy.
I don't hold grudges so if you abandon a post, I get it, don't be afraid to come back later or start a new one with me! I won't be upset, I swear! I usually require at least a paragraph per post, but I can get into the high casual area if I get in the mood. For now, I am just trying to get back into the swing of things.
Anyway, enough with pleasantries, let's get into the nitty-gritty!

A year after the Avatar defeated the fire lorde, things are all but worse than after the war ended. A few Fire nation generals cling to their proveniences in the Earth kingdom. The Earth kingdom is in shambles, most of the country-side is lawless and filled with bandits. Water bending is all but a dead art. While the war may be over, reconstruction is proving to be a far more grueling task.
Our characters would be notable mercenaries who have helped in establishing peace in the earth kingdom. We have been tasked with hunting down a dangerous fire nation war criminal. He is an older man, a master of fire bending, and has important knowledge about the few fire nations 'proveniences' currently dissecting the earth kingdom. They want him returned alive, which may prove difficult when dealing with a seasoned veteran.
A very simple plot. Takes place in Republic city, but with new characters. Aang's children would be NPCs we create and both play. We could alter the pattern of the Avatar so that our avatar character is any element we desire. Let's recreate the sequel to the last air bender together. I promise you that we can write something better. Who plays the the avatar is up to you, I don't care either way!
The players take on the role of a new villain and his number 1 henchmen in the world of Venture Bros. What seems like a simple henching quickly grows into a fight for our player's lives as they prove to be vastly outmatched! Come to find out this was the guild's plan all along, send you after someone out of your level and blame the rules that made them an eligible henching!
The Land of Ooo has changed in the past century. There are still permance: immortals like princess bubblegum and Marceline, kingdoms still standing proud. Still, the world is nothing like it use to be. A powerful pup (half rainacorn, part dog, part shapeshifter) sorcerer has taken control of much of the world using a gem from the Ice king's crown. Abolishing the powers of his citizens and holding regime with an Iron fist, most of the world appeases his empire as resistance dwindles.
Our characters are whoever we please, but get caught up in the mess when a gem from the Ice king's crown falls into their hands. Do they take it's corrupting power for their own? Will they return it to the mad ice-thing of the north? Or will the PupKing take it by force?
Nearly half a decade ago, the 'Courier of the east' managed to repel Ceasar's legion and expel the NCR from his country. With Mr. House vanishing as mysteriously as he appeared, the Mojave was his for the taking. War never changes, though. The peace under the the Courier was short lived, for as soon as his died the whole empire collapsed. Now, the Mojave is back where it started; The NCR weasels it's way in and the Legion's strength returns.
My Character is a Scavenger, one who found a mysterious Eye-bot. At first he wishes to sell it, but when he manages to repair the droid, he finds it's filled with data anyone in the mojave would kill for. Soon enough bounty hunters and prospectors start chasing him down. Worried for his life, he either A.) hire a mercenary or b.) joins a Caravan to escape to the NCR. Either way, our characters will quickly find that every faction in the wasteland is vying for ED-E.
In the criminal underground, there are crime bosses and Hutts with more money than they know what to do with it. Some stash it away, amassing a ludicrous horde of credits to fall upon at any time. Others spend it on vices: drugs and prostitutes are a staple. There are those, however, with far more rare and expensive taste. A notorious Hutt has a particularly dark collection, gathering sith relics. No one knows his deeper intentions, and even fewer would dare to ask. Unbeknownst to the republic, the Separatist and even Palpatine another Sith has Emerged, known as Darth Aggregon. No one has seen him, but his various agents and apprentices have been causing problems. Law enforcement has been a particular target. With the jedi stretched thin, they can only spare one or two of their ranks.
We will either play as a pair of Jedi (or Jedi and Padawan?) looking into the 'sith' or as smugglers who have been wronged by the now emboldened Hutt sithlord. Either way, expect a high stakes, action packed adventure. This takes place in the Clone wars era.
Ben and his friends have been away from earth for years now. They've left earth to the plumbers, and the group have worked diligently to protect the world. The struggle is, it's getting harder and harder to keep Aliens a secret with more and more hybrids emerging. Amidst all their efforts to protect earth from alien intervention, they failed to look at humanity as a whole.
A faction of the Forever Knights has reemerged, silently amassing a series of powerful alien weapons and worse yet, building back their ranks. Seeing a chance to use their new toys, their leader begins using a satellite cannon to shoot down any alien ships passing by. It doesn't take long for a new group of aliens begin swarming the earth for tools to repair their ship.
We will either play as aliens who have crashed, plumbers looking to help, A hybrid human, or maybe just a bystander who encounters this craziness. Regardless, a mission to escape earth and take down the Forever Knight temple ensues!
General prompts
increasingly cataclysmic warfare on the surface of the earth began to make it an irradiated and uninhabitable place. As refugees poured into tighter and tighter spaces things grew cramped and street riots and civil unrest followed. A solution came in the form of 'Paradise': a massive underground city designed to be both optimal for protection against collapse and from radiation in case of another catastrophic attack. People flocked to it, and in a year Paradise was up and running at full efficiency, ending up as crowded as any surface town. The founder, Doctor Hypatia Macroy, became the richest woman in the world and the mayor of the happiest city in the world. She would go on to excavate nearly a hundred other underground towns and linked them together with long railways. By the end of her life, she had transferred half of the entire population of North America to the underground. But paradise was not perfect.
Nearing the end of her life Hypatia grew increasingly paranoid that the empire she had built would fall without her watchful eye, and so she did everything she could to increase her longevity and ultimately came out more machine than the woman before ultimately embracing her new life and digitalizing her entire being. Around this time her paton on the underground society passed and smaller companies began to work on similar projects, which Hypatia's new brain took hostile action towards. Something about her had changed, her robotic brain is far more cruel and logical. With her attack came a civil war within America and ultimately the spread US military could not effectively make a dent in her sure-fire strategies and instead sealed off every exit to the surface world.
The war for the underground raged on for years until a coup managed to overwhelm and dispatch Hypatia. Now, with the gap in the hierarchy in the underground things have gone to mayhem. Radical leaders have risen and claim the right to be the new leaders. Roving bandit groups wander the winding tunnels and hijack trains. Small settlements have cropped out away from the advanced complexes and recently mutated surface beast and weaseled their way into the tunnels.
deep in the red dune sea, a desert renown for its crimson grains of sand, is the well guarded Oasis town of Sunspring. It's a regular stop for travelers looking to restock supplies and trade their wares, or mercenaries to peddle themselves. It's a safe haven for anyone looking to escape vandals and sandstorms, but even Sunspring has its problems.
In recent days there is trouble afoot as a man named havija steelcloak has taken refuge in the nearby ruins of an old castle. Initially, it was merely for him to use as a base while he moves out and assaults merchants and travelers, though recently strange noises and eerie sounds have been reported from it. Suddenly havija decided he was a king, calling all for fellow bandits and mercenaries to rally under his name. He has a sizeable army, and with Sunspring only feet away the people fear for a conquest afoot.
You are a weary traveler with your own reasons to come to Sunspring. Whatever they may be, the burgomaster of the town calls upon you for aid, begging you to rid them of havija for a hefty reward.
So, I find myself in a similar boat to you XD Used to be a lot more active on this site years ago, and find myself wanting to reignite that spark I think I have lost sight of. I too have had flake problems before, as well as sometimes slowed to a weekly response.
As someone with a keen understanding of pretty much this exact mindset, I'd love to possibly entertain the idea of jumping into something with you. Shake the dust off of the both of us as it were.
Looking at your list, I won't lie, I have a real jonesing for a superhero themed gig right now. Got to do something to keep those My Hero Academia feelings in check while waiting the new season!
Either way, always happy to just talk if you want that too :)
