"All that we left was dusty, forgotten remnants of a past we forgot. Am I now one of them?"

It might have been days, perhaps weeks or even years but the memories felt fresh in his mind and left deep lasting scars that would last for all of eternity. Time felt meaningless to a god, especially as old as he; Armarion the Faceless, it was ironic the deity chose to wear the face he had on Earth, maybe out of the desire to remember something good or to cling to a past he long-ago left behind because all that was left up high amongst the domain of the Sun and Moon were relics left dusty and decrepit, antiquities of a bygone era.
It felt like yesterday he walked alongside the radiance of a rainbow, felt the brush of a kiss and the strings of his very soul shatter at the grand betrayal he witnessed. Of course he had known for time untold that even the divine could die, yet Armarion never wished to witness it happen to his brothers and sisters especially not Amos.
The pain felt so sharply, helpless to do anything that might have saved his twin brother. Of all their siblings, one might have assumed the God of Secrets would have been closest to the shadows or the more mischievous of their brothers and sisters however it was always his brother Amos whom could be seen with the hooded figure of his brother often arguing or fighting over something, but they both were the closest of all their siblings.
They had fought side by side millions of years ago, in a war that the secretive deity lead. It was Amos whom stayed by him even as their siblings abandoned the cause, but it would be the last time either would see one another for a long time. In the end once again he was alone, left to wander the Earth briefly chancing upon his younger siblings whom he never spoke to much if at all feeling resent towards their abandonment of him.
