Hello~
I haven’t done any collaborative writing in a long time, but I’ve been writing solo again recently and have some RP ideas I’ve been craving now that I have the itch. I’ve listed them below in order of interest. I prefer to RP in PMs. I don’t really have any limits regarding content, especially since I lean towards combat-heavy RP so blood and gore are fun. I’m open to RP that is sexual in nature, but really only if it suits the story. I’m male, and I prefer to RP men or non-binary characters but have no problem writing for any side characters. I’m interested in long-form, paragraph-style RP. A solid grasp of grammar, spelling, and the like is ideal. I can post pretty frequently as long as things stay interesting, as I have a good bit of free time these days. I'm also not opposed to something involving a dice system of sorts, and I'd be happy to GM for something like that. If anything interests you, or you think I might be interested in something you’ve got going on, feel free to message me!
I’ve included a writing sample so you can get a feel for my style and gauge whether you’d like to RP with me. Thanks for looking!

Set nine years before the events of the game, Balamb Garden is four years into operation and its first class of students is about to take the SeeD field exam. Headmaster Cid Kramer’s goal of creating a mercenary force, ready to be contracted out across the world, is about to come to fruition. The story follows that first class and their pursuits as the first SeeD operatives. The main characters from the game would be children at the time, so OCs only. I figure we could start with the field exam, and from there just go on different missions like monster hunting, being bodyguards, supporting military operations, etc while having in-between periods of just hanging out at the Garden. I wouldn’t be opposed to doing an alternate storyline where the sorceress reveals herself in our time or something either.
For decades, the orc clans have expanded their sphere of control around the continent after uniting against the human kingdoms. City after city has fallen, with thousands killed and even more enslaved. The wood elves of the Vaalen Forest have spent centuries in seclusion, unbothered by the woes of mortal races, but now the war has come to their borders. As the orc war machine begins bringing down the Vaalen’s sacred colossal redwoods, the elven kingdom begins a guerrilla offensive against the invaders.
The idea is the sniper/spotter dynamic seen in movies and video games but adapted to a high-fantasy setting. I’d ideally play the sniper, a good pairing would be a spellsword or rogue of some sort. We would be tasked with eliminating key high-value enemies as the orc army pushes into the forest and regular woven forces engage them in conventional warfare.

A pair of Jedi Knights fall in love, which leads them to abandon the Jedi Order. The duo travels the galaxy working as bounty hunters until after encountering an ancient Sith holocron, the lure of the Dark Side is too much for one of them who falls to its power, leaving the other to try desperately to bring them back to the Light - or join them in darkness.
This could work in any era of Star Wars I suppose, but I was thinking of the Old Republic. I’d be open to playing either the light or dark role. We could start with finding the holocron and explore the dark influence, or begin sometime after the one character’s fall and get right into the interpersonal dynamics of ex-Jedi bounty hunters with one constantly trying to reign the other’s darkness in.

The sun sat high in the sky, signaling the coming approach of midday. The gentle River Tyr flowed beneath the Dragoon assault ship carrying the trio of operators through the city. Tyr’s Bend sprawls out for miles in either direction from the river, alive with the hustle and bustle of a capital city. The nimble assault ship started to decrease in altitude and the cabin radio crackled to life.
“Saber Team, be advised we are approaching the target destination. Prepare for fast rope deployment.”
The Dragoon’s engines whined as the ship slowed in the air. Aelvir had been sitting quietly, his sword laid across his lap. As his stomach lurched with the familiar feeling of a ship slowing to a hover, he grabbed the sword and slung it over his shoulder; the blade snapping against his armor and glowing with a soft blue light as the magnetic sheathing system engaged. The other two, his instructor and a classmate, did the same and approached the door as the thick rope meant for them to rappel down deployed.
“Alright Saber, this isn’t a simulation. If you screw up, you die. Priority number one is securing and extracting the research staff. Priority two is putting down any of the escaped Abs within the facility. We still aren’t sure if any of the security forces are alive, so watch what you’re engaging.”
The commanding voice belonged to Lesalia; a tall, dark-skinned woman wearing a suit of crimson red scout armor. She had been one of Aelvir’s instructors at the Institute for four years now and had grown to be his favorite. “Move!” she shouted, and Aelvir grabbed the rope. He had done this dozens of times in training, but this time was different. The only options now were completing the mission or death.
“Saber One, get your ass in gear!” Lesalia barked, and Aelvir snapped out of it.
The descent took less than ten seconds, but it felt like an hour. Aelvir’s boots hit the roof of the building and he reached back over his shoulder, grabbing the hilt of his sword and tugging hard enough to separate it from his armor. Another set of boots hit the roof behind him. They belonged to Karis, his classmate, and rival since joining the mercenary organization. The pale man grinned at Aelvir while holding up his index finger, a tiny blue flame burning above it, before rushing towards the nearby stairwell that would lead into the building. Aelvir followed as Lesalia landed and the Dragoon’s engines roared as they were engaged, sending the assault ship zooming off into the city skyline.
The door burst open as Karis neared it and a man in a bloodied lab coat came tumbling out onto the roof. The unmistakable sound of automatic gunfire echoed from deep within the building before the door swung back shut. The researcher looked up at the scout armored trio and relief flooded his face.
“Thank goodness!” he gasped, breathing heavily, “they did it on purpose. They’re rebels. One of them is right behind me.”
Almost in unison, the three operators switched their magshielding on; the soft blue light barely visible in the afternoon sun. Then, as if on cue, the door burst open again and a masked man in a security uniform with an SMG at the ready came out. If he was surprised to see the operators, it didn’t affect his reaction time, and a burst of gunfire erupted from his weapon. Aelvir gasped as the wind left him and his shielding flashed a brilliant blue, leaving him temporarily blinded. It had stopped most of the bullets, but lost power and his armor took the last one, sending a shockwave through his torso. As he doubled over in pain and fell to his knees, Karis and Lesalia were both moving towards their target.
Soon, the gun was aimed at Karis, but as the next round of burst fire started he darted to the side, his magshield lighting up around his arm as a couple rounds pinged off it. In the blink of an eye, he’d closed the gap, and was sending a leaping haymaker; his gloved fist cloaked in flame. The punch struck the rebel square in the jaw, sending him toppling sideways just as Lesalia arrived to position her bayonet perfectly to skewer him through the skull. His limp body fell to the ground and Lesalia put her boot on his shoulder, jerking her rifle back to free the blade. Aelvir rose to his feet just in time to see Karis opening the door and peering into the stairwell before disappearing inside.
“Saber One, you’re taking up the rear since your magshield is already toasted. If you’re lucky we’ll find a battery in there. Get your shit together and get in there. You,” Lesalia turned to the researcher, “stay on the roof. Grab his gun. Shoot anything that isn’t one of us.”
The researcher looked at the dead rebel, then to the dropped SMG beside him. “A-alright,” he replied, crawling over to it and picking it up before finally standing. He held the weapon awkwardly, but at least he seemed to know to keep it pointed in a safe direction.
Aelvir blinked his eyes in quick succession, trying to will the spots in his vision from his shield breaking to go away. He tightened his grip on the curved blade in his hand, frustrated that he’d been caught flat-footed. If he hadn’t turned his shield on, his armor would be shredded, and he’d probably have a few rounds in his ribcage. He dismissed the thought, pushing the door open and proceeding into the dimly lit stairwell where Karis was leaning against the wall beside a door at the bottom of the stairs.
“Thought you’d never come,” Karis scoffed, uncrossing his arms as he pushed off the wall. “There’s Abs loose in this hallway.” He gestured with a thumb at the door beside him, and Aelvir approached it to take a look through the window pane.
The corpse, if you could call it a corpse, of a researcher, was slumped up against the wall a short distance down the hall. Most of it had been stripped away, leaving little but chunks of gnarled flesh and a mostly intact skeleton. A massive, eight-legged Abberation with a bulbous abdomen covered in short brown hair chewed at what was left of the researcher’s stomach. Aelvir gauged that it was probably three feet long, with a leg span of at least six. He frowned, turning to Karis as Lesalia came in from the roof and started down the stairs.
“Spider Abs? What are they doing with those?” Aelvir asked. Karis shrugged as Lesalia pushed Aelvir out of the way so she could peer through the pane into the hall.
“Doesn’t matter. We just need to kill ‘em,” Lesalia replied, taking a step back and shouldering her rifle. “Saber Two, breach and bang.”
Karis held out his hand and a bright blue flame sparked to life in his palm. “Coming right up,” he said with a smirk before stepping in front of the door. Aelvir brought his blade high and twisted his elbows beside his head to point the weapon forward. Karis kicked the door open and underhand tossed the fireball into the hallway. It exploded with a brilliant flash and the trio breached the door, unaware of the surprise that waited on the other side.
