Good day all! I am Qbe, and I have been a writer for almost a decade at this point, with a long desire to return to this site for some quality story-building with some quality folks. That being said, I consider myself an advanced writer, just meaning that I will usually give you multiple paragraphs and expect the same in return.
- BE 18+. I'm not writing just for mature themes, but I want to be writing with someone that is close in age to me and can be exposed to mature themes should they come up. Additionally, I prefer to fade to black for any sexual content, but I'm open to including more intense violence and generally heavier content.
- My ideal partner is patient but communicative-- if you need to take an extended hiatus, please let me know! If you can't, that's fine. I don't hold a grudge for ghosting but I think we all agree it's never the best-case scenario.

- To restate, I tend to be wordy. At least 5 paragraphs per post is going to be my loose guideline, but generally post length will fluctuate depending on what's going on in the story. Just no one or two sentence posts-- I just prefer a little more!
- I love becoming friends with my writing partners! By that, I just mean I love exchanging ideas, brainstorming, and expressing our feelings about storylines OOC! I'm an artist, so you can also expect some fanart of our story and characters should I find myself particularly attached! I'm also very gung-ho on character and story playlists.
- I can't get behind anime/manga FC usage, nor do I really find FCs necessary at all! If you'd prefer to use character sheets or FCs, let me know, and I'll oblige. If we do choose to give our characters a reference face, I do ask that it is a real-life FC or a piece of realistic art.
With that all out of the way, under the next hider I'll go into some story/setting ideas I have. Romance isn't necessary for me, but I do think it's fun when it does develop; such plot points are the perfect thing to discuss OOC!
+ Under the curtain of war in a fictional, ancient-Greek inspired realm, a young heir to the throne must suddenly take up the challenge of ruling. Despite their best efforts to cull the growing criminal population whilst many of the nation's peacekeepers are away in battle, a rising threat looms in the form of a syndicate of bandits. A royal investigator is sent to infiltrate this community, and learns that the petty thefts are just the beginning-- this thing goes all the way to the top. (I wanna include some indulgent, almost deified crime lords in this one >:) Maybe some magic is involved?)
+ In distant future era of high-tech space travel, aliens and humans join forces to expand the known horizons of the universe-- but there be monsters. One crew manning a lower-ranking military fleet is stranded after their communication devices are destroyed by a star-swimming beast. And worse, this small crew has just made an unnerving discovery. The creature that destroyed their ship was hunting a rare crystal; a gemstone that hung around the neck of a stowaway on their ship. (In this one, I'd be looking for you to write the role of the stowaway- but I'd be happy to help you build their backstory OOC!)
+ A victorian era tale wherein a horror author/authoress encounters an injured extraterrestrial, and writes stories about them while keeping them hidden and safe from an increasingly curious public.
+ Wild West anything, to be honest, just run it by me!
