A realm of titans, gods...and their mortal races
**Creation**
As the records describe, the four Titans crashed into Heliotan, a grey barren wasteland drifting through the void.
Felgon, the blind was the first titan to speak a word of power. His voice breathed life into the dead world, spreading beautiful flora and fauna across the land. With his own hands, he planted the great tree of life, the vessel for the first souls he created.
Prytanis did not speak. Rather, he manifested a glorious hammer made of light and returned to the void. In the endless darkness, he swung his hammer once, bending gravity and light, and wielding his power with unparalleled precision. From his effort, he forged the sun, the first star of the Cosmos.
Teutamos spoke next, his voice was profound and mighty, it caused the world to quake and spew forth the ocean and rivers.
Gorgion, the wisest of the Titans, spoke his word of power, his voice gentle. He created the Elder races: Elves, Humans, Fae, and Drocon. He held each of the races in the palm of his hands, studying them and allowing each of his brothers to bestow unique blessings upon the Elder Races.
**Felgon, the Blind, Creator of Souls and Soul Magic**
*When Gorgion introduced him to the first humans, he blessed them with infinite adaptability. Soon after, he left the mortal realm. Felgon found solace ruling over the astral sea, the afterlife for all souls including those he did not create. In this realm, he oversees the flow carefully, akin to a spider in its web. Hidrusha and other gods have attempted to steal souls from the afterlife but he has protected them, utilizing his abilities of spatial erasure and dimensional techniques occasionally. He knows of every conflict that occurs, and in times of great turmoil, he will send his angels and champions to fight on his behalf.*
**Teutamos, The Guardian**
*Teutamos is the most robust of the Titans, his strength and mastery of spacetime manipulation has no equal. He is a benevolent titan, a veteran of numerous wars. He patrols the Cosmos, quelling disputes, and protecting it from the outer rim. Conquerors and ambitious gods in the Titan's sphere of influence were forced to stop their petty games of domination. War was no longer tolerated and any god who stood against Teutamos was cast down, and made to live as a mortal.*
*Under Teutamos’ mandate all gods and their warlords are seen as equals. They are assigned a Dracon overlord and an outpost of Sentinels or Drocon are established on their world. Only the coalition of gods in the outer rim still opposes the Titans, even though their fight is futile.*
**Gorgion, the Wise**
*Since the creation of Heliotan, Gorgion has guided the Elder races and Titan alike. His ability of nigh-omniscience has made him invaluable to all. He is treasured by the Elder races since he lives among them as a keeper of knowledge, and a master psionic. The oldest elves can still recall the day Gorgion held them in his hand and blessed them with immortality.*
*He showed the Elder races the wonder of fire and magic. Now he watches them explore the Cosmos in massive ships.*
*In the present age, Gorgion is the only Titan on Heliotan, content living in the Great Library of Utopia. Thousands make the pilgrimage to Heliotan, just to gaze upon him and study the vast knowledge he has written.*
**Prytanis, the Starforger**
*Prytanis blessed the fae with an affinity toward druidic and radiant magic. After the blessing, Prytanis never returned to Heliotan. He remained focused on forging the stars, it became his divine purpose. The gods and civilizations he discovered were simply ignored. After a star is forged, Prytanis moves on to the next world and leaves the task of studying and stabilizing the worlds to his brothers.*
*Recently, the gods have been roused to action, forming the Coalition of Gods. They demand an end to the Titan's domination.*
These are the Titans, who shaped the realm of Heliotan in their vision, and gave birth to life and it's cycles.
**Lords of Fear**
*The creation of the Dracon came in year 30 after a Drocon warrior murdered an elf noble out of anger. The Elder races rallied their armies and a bloody war between the Drocon and Elves ensued. In the chaos, Gorgion summoned the Titans and together they created five beings in their image. They were named the Dracon and their purpose was to keep the Elder races united against them in fear.*
*Though the Dracon were restricted by the Titans, unable to use the full extent of their godly powers.*
*Teutamos declared four edicts:*
*The Dracon shall not create sentient life, murder one another, directly intervene in battles, or touch the souls of the powerless.*
*The Dracon system was a success, the elder races directed their armies toward the demons and monsters created by the five brothers.*
**Vetar’s Ambition**
*Vetar, Lord of the Undead desired to be more... In year 80, he left Heliotan and became the apprentice of Prytanis, the Starforger. Vetar would attempt to forge a star in the year 100 and fail catastrophically. His attempt caused a nearby star to collapse into itself. Vetar drained the star of its energy and twisted it beyond recognition into a black hole. It shattered two colonies orbiting it and threatened to destroy Heliotan.*
**Vetar, Lord of Undead and King of the Void**
*After corrupting the first star, Vetar spent a century on the moon of Heliotan, honing his mastery of the Void, since he was forbidden from the stars. In the year 200, he returned to Heliotan and immersed himself in the Ocean. Shortly after, his soul ascended from an unknown cause, becoming omnipresent in darkness including the void between stars. This was seen as a divine inheritance by many elves, humans, and drocon. They migrated to the northern half of Utopia and founded the city-state of Ebari. They began to worship Vetar as an equal to the Titans.*
*Now in the current age, Vetar has undergone a second ascension. His soul is now able to reanimate the corpses of all who die in the Cosmos. Vetar’s worshippers have become evangelical in their belief and now ardently wait for his third ascension.*
**Hidrusha, The Rogue Khan and Father of Blood Magic**
*Hidrusha is the former apprentice of Gorgion. He was destined to be the wisest of the Dracon, the second keeper of all Knowledge if Gorgion perished or disappeared. But His mind broke under the weight of the Cosmic knowledge. He fleed from Heliotan unable to handle Gorgion’s pity. Soon after, Hidrusha was reluctantly given a region to rule over. He allowed his madness to guide him in creation and policy. He ruled over a khanate of barbaric demons and dragons that swept across his region of the Cosmos every decade. His system was efficient but each decade the hordes grew larger and more ravenous.*
**Hidrusha’s Rebellion**
*For the first time in recorded history, Titan and Dracon met in battle. Hidrusha reveled in the fighting, testing the laws of Casualty and warping reality itself with no restraint. Something that was thought to be impossible for Dracon to achieve. Yet, Teutamos was still victorious that day. Hidrusha was forced to flee to the lawless outer rim of the Cosmos. His demons were left to the mercy of Teutamos.*
**Agathon, Lord of the Singularity and Father of Dragons**
*Agathon took up the mantle as the leader of the Dracon, after defending Vetar in the year 100. As Agathon’s region grew, He came to be the most efficient of the Dracon. He’s a strong believer in quality over quantity, all his creations are meant to be dangerously alluring. The sentient demons he was given by Titans were revised and made “Perfect”. They now serve as his Knights of the Void, only appearing at the most unexpected times and spreading his corrupting voice across worlds. His voice slowly corrupts the minds and souls of all that hear it, only the Titans and Dracon are immune to it. Only Felgon can cleanse this creeping corruption from the souls of his victims.*
**Tharuk, the Lord of Hunger, the God-Eater**
*The origins of Tharuk are unknown, as are his motivations. He simply appeared in the outer rim one day, and began to assail the gods that dwelt there. His power is far beyond that of a mere god, his abilities warping space and twisting time with ease. His very form a swirling wash of cosmic energy and all-consuming singularities.
He drives all who mortals that reside near him to madness, even most gods fail to resist his unreality pressing in on them. Though he lacks words of power or any known connection to the Titans he is considered an unofficial Dracon due to his abilities and disposition.*
**The Brethren**
*Some powerful beings that encounter Tharuk are not consumed by him, but instead are changed forever. Their souls are inverted in some cruel mockery of Felgon's gift, changed into singularities of their own that eat away at not only their host but the world itself. To counter this he infuses them with cosmic energy, which grants them vast power, but also an insatiable hunger for magic and souls.*
**Kagmon, the Diplomat and Master of Manipulation**
*Kagmon has gained a reputation for his generous approach to his subjects. The Overlord works closely with the gods of his region. He summons them annually to discuss trade deals, censuses, scheduled incursions, and the state of the Cosmos.*
**Master of Manipulation**
*Kagmon is the weakest of the Dracgon, choosing to starve himself of power and entrench himself in the politics of the gods and kings.*
*As a result, he has forged a special bond with the strongest god-king of his region, Vawarin the Last Strategos. Before the Titans subjugated him, he was prophesied to conquer his world and lead his legions to the stars. Now, he works closely with Kagmon developing massive legions of insectoids.*
**Meleagar, the Master of Innovation**
*The dark horse of the Dracon, he has gained the admiration of gods and mortals. Meleagar was the chosen apprentice of Teutamos, and upheld his teachings. He understands his power over Cosmic radiation has made him untouchable to demi-gods and mortals.*
*Meleager travels his region in a massive blast furnace, that only demons and machines toil in. He uses the resources seized from his subjects to forge legendary armaments, ships, and vessels for artificial souls.*
These are the Dracon, the mighty and godly beings shaped by the Titans to rule over the mortal races.
**Legacy of the Khan**
*The demons were never allowed to have sentience until their master rebelled against Teutamos. He chose not to hide his creations and set them loose upon the gods and mortals. Under his Khanate, the demons flourished consuming the souls of all who stood against them and becoming stronger with each battle they won. In just one year, the demons had become stronger than all the elder races.*
*A hierarchy was formed after the corruption of the second star. The strongest demon of the first generation was Vesha, who was crowned the first devil and given a taste of Hidrusha’s blood. Vesha’s abilities reached new heights but he became the most ravenous demon. The devil needed to feast on worlds just to sate his hunger. To maintain a level head and not be driven by his hunger, he split his soul into a second body and made Kaldas, the beast of hell. Kaldas, is the embodiment of Vesha’s wrath, cruelty, and cunning.*
**After Hidrusha’s Rebellion**
*Vesha and his demons witnessed the first battle, many of them claiming Teutamos hesitated after Hidrusha landed a powerful strike. This emboldened the demons even after Hidrusha fled to the outer rim.*
*After the battle, Vesha and his demons were divided among the loyal Dracon. They were given restrictions, none of them could reproduce or consume the souls of their victims. If any break these laws, they are marked for death.*
*Only Kaldas, the beast of hell managed to escape to the outer rim with his master. Together, they created the third generation of demons, they live freely under the Rogue Khan and are much larger than their restricted counterparts.*
**Heliotan: In The Begining**
*Long ago, in a time lost to Myth, great beings of ineffable power known as the Titans sewed life into the barren earth, and shaped the lands of the work known as Heliotan. They formed the great supercontinent of Utopia, and made races to inhabit it. These were the Elder Races, those who from all others were spawned. These were the: Humans, Elves, Fairies, and the Drocon. They spread life and forged stars and worlds across the fabric of the cosmos.
However... after an age of peace the unthinkable happened. In jealousy and rage a Drocon warrior murdered an Elven Noble. This lead to a war, the First War, between the two races. This forced the Titans to intervene though force. However this act pained the Titans... and so after this one of their number, Gorgion, suggested that they make a race in their image, to enforce peace where they could not. Some of the others supported this plan, and so the Dracon, the Lords of Fear, were made.
For a time this worked, however the Dracon, being made in their image, desired to be more like them. One among them attempted to make a star, like the Titans did to fill the void. This Dracon, named Vetar, instead created a singularity, a living hole in reality named Tharuk. The Titans were disgusted, and frightened by this and chastised Vetar, and forbid the other Dracon from attempting anything like that again.*
*Heliotan is the capital of the Titans domain. In the heart of the supercontinent, Utopia. The wisest of the Titans resides in the heart of the densely populated city. He has governed the inhabitants of Utopia since the beginning and has made it a prosperous hub for science and magic.*
*Many have traveled to Heliotan as pilgrims and migrants. The Titans welcome any magic and luxury goods are imported from every corner of the Cosmos.*
*Even though it is the heart of the Cosmos. A Dracon also rests in the northern ocean, and every month abominations emerge from the ocean. They mimic humans and elves, causing minor conflicts across the supercontinent.*
This is all still a work in progress, but feel free to ask me any questions or anything while I figure out how to get this set up here, if anything seems off, that is because this was originally all from a previous discord roleplay server called Exodus, which...as you can tell by reading, has a deep set lore and system of varying gods and deific pantheons. I'm curious to see how it would work on this forum site, so please bear with me as I work through the conversion phase and attempt to better iterate it for your lore understanding purposes.
