Hey there! I'm Knave!
I. I'm in my mid-twenties and located on the east coast of the US. If there's something else about me you need to know before you're willing to RP, shoot me a PM c:
II. My schedule alternates pretty often and I'm in an RP server that takes precedence before this - you can expect one or two nights a week of two to three replies, and I may have to take an unannounced hiatus. I am ghost-friendly in turn, obviously.
III. Novella ig? I typically put out about 500 words per post, but can go down to 100 or up to 1500 depending on what you give me. I struggle more with being concise. I appreciate quality over quantity in replies and, while I love internal monologue, I need there to be something concrete for my character to reply to. If I give you a reply that you struggle with, let me know and I'll rewrite so it's more inciting.
IV. I prioritize character-driven plots and relationships over combat or intrigue. The character I'll be playing for this is a gay Tabris, but romance isn't the only thing I'm looking for. I'm happy to write platonic relationships - a friend, family member, or rival - as long as the feelings between the two characters are intense.
V. This is canon-divergent, so any character or plot within the DA universe is on the table. You wanna play Solas, groggy from waking up early? I'd be so down with that. Some characters I'm particularly interested in playing with are Zevran, Morrigan, Shianni, Mahariel, Brosca, a Twin!Tabris, Velanna, Merril, and Fenris. I love OC's, too!
VI. Smut may happen, depends on how you feel about it. This is Origins and the horror tag is there for a reason; this will be heavy with mature, triggering themes. Please be 20 or older. If you have any concerns or specific triggers, feel free to bring them up while we're plotting.

the premise; knave's character
Duncan, Commander of the Grey in Ferelden, had been gathering more recruits in recent years - a boy who was nearly a Templar, the last scion of Highever's arlship, a blighted Dalish warrior, a casteless exile - in preparation for the King's stand against the Blight at Ostagar. The last two recruits were from Denerim; a fast-talking pickpocket and an elven archer that loathed Duncan with a passion. Unfortunately for the Wardens, it's Tabris that survives the joining and not Daveth.
Despite his precautions, Duncan's efforts were doomed to failure. Almost every Warden perished in Ostagar.
But Flemeth's intervention was not the only thing that saved the Order - while Alistair and one other make their way to Lothering on the witch's advice, some others have escaped the carnage and make their way through the wilds alone. Perhaps they encounter each other, or perhaps one of them encounters someone else entirely...
The general idea behind this is that each of the P/C origins was recruited and that some of them miraculously survive Ostagar without Flemeth, if that was unclear - they're under no obligation to follow the plot of Origins, but the world will continue to be affected by the HoF's choices and the encroaching Blight if they don't. DENERIM DURING DARKSPAWN CHRONICLES: In the Darkspawn Chronicles DLC, the player can run into Zevran defending the Alienage - in lore, Alistair spared Zev and sent him on his way, so our favorite crow was hiding out in Denerim.
In Origins, if the player selects any origin that isnβt City Elf, they can find Soris in Howeβs dungeons. Heβll describe how his cousin died in custody after they infiltrated the Arlβs estate.
I like these two little fun facts. Iβm putting them in a jar and shaking them. I'm cool with playing either Tabris or Zevran for this.
DA2, FENRIS & ZEVRAN: If anyone likes playing Fen, I think it'd be cool to have these two meet through Isabela and tackle Thedas' slave trade problem together.
INQUISITION, HOF & THE INQUISITOR: It's a cop out that the Inquisition quest that deals with an order-wide Calling features Stroud instead of the Hero of Ferelden - that makes the choice between Hawke and the Warden much harder. Let's stick the HoF in Stroud/Alistair/Loghain's place.
