Hey all! I've been gone for a while, huh? No particular reason - I just preferred roleplaying on Discord. Anyways, I have this really bad hyperfixation on Undertale AUs right now. It's an itch I can't really scratch because hardly anyone I know even knows what Undertale is. So, I'm looking for an Undertale rp partner primarily.
I'm fairly good at roleplaying. I've been doing so for over a decade. I am semi-lit to literate and I will match lengths. I write in third person and I'd prefer it if my partner does as well.
Triggers are very important to me. I want you to be very forward when it comes to them. I don't have many of my own aside from, perhaps, obscene amounts of gore. I will give warnings and makes suggestions as we go on. Please do not be afraid to tell me when something makes you uncomfortable. I won't drop a roleplay partner just because they have triggers - those can be worked around.
With a roleplay partner, I require open communication. By that, I mean; please be honest about what makes you uncomfortable and what doesn't. I would also request you not push yourself - one can easily get burnt out through doing so. Roleplaying should be fun and not a chore.
My policy on OCs:
Make them interesting. Make them flawed. I won't roleplay with Mary/Gary Sues. I will offer the same. Overpowered abilities are okay, but power playing is not. With great power, weaknesses should follow. Superman's weakness is a friggin' rock, for star's sakes! Give your characters depth! Give them fears, likes, dislikes. I won't roleplay with OCs that don't interest me in any way.
That being said, the limits I put on OCs are very minimal. I just want them to be realistic. Perhaps not by modern standards, as this is technically a fantasy setting. Just, something applicable to Undertale and/or it's AUs.
AUS:
I only really know mainstream AUs. My all-time favorites are Bittytale/Bittybones and Dreamtale. I will not reject anything to do with them. I also will not reject anything to do with the Star Sanses or the Bad Sanses. I am just most well-informed on Bittybones.
My OCs:
I am more than willing to play canon/fanon characters. However, I do have a plethora of OCs of my own. I can also, very easily at that, make a new OC for a specific idea you may have in mind. Do not be afraid to tell me if none of the OCs I list are of interest or applicable to anything you have in mind.
World Building:
Now, I love world building almost as much as I love character design, study, and development. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at it. I am more than willing to admit this. Especially when it comes to things like politics and infrastructure as my knowledge on the two is limited at best.
For those who do not know Undertale, but are interested in roleplaying with me:
I am in quite a few fandoms. Undertale is just my current hyperfixation. I also like original worlds. Please, just ask. What is most important in my search for a roleplay partner is someone who will push me. I want to improve my writing. I want someone who will make me think. If you can do this and know nothing about Undertale/have no interest in Undertale, please reach out. I strive it improve my writing and if I can find someone who can push my limits, I would be so happy.
For the past year or two I've been roleplaying with people who either match me or need coaxing. I don't mind this at all! I just really want someone who can help me go beyond my own limits. Especially if that someone has a larger vocabulary. If you specialize in world building or feel confident in it, pop in for a chat! I can learn a lot from you.
Edit:
I may or may not have only now realized, a full day later, that this post was entirely Undertale-centric. I do so much more than just Undertale! I, for instance, would love to do a Pokemon roleplay. I enjoy Pokemon quite a lot.
Gender isn't something that limits my roleplaying. Any gender pairing is fine. We'd be here a while if I listed them all.
My favorite genres are Fantasy, Romance, and Adventure. My favorite tropes are Found Family, Enemies to Lovers, Friends to Lovers, and more that I can't really put into words.
