I’ve had this plot rattling around and I’m hoping someone will do it with me :)

Plot Summary:
Two characters become pen pals through a school program—either in high school or college. Over the years, they share everything from their dreams and fears to their everyday lives, forming a deep connection. They exchange letters regularly for a few years, but life eventually gets in the way. One of them stops writing after a significant life event (e.g., a family issue, a breakup, or feeling insecure about their life compared to the other). The letters abruptly stop, and they lose touch.
Years later, by sheer coincidence, they meet in person—completely unaware of who the other is at first. Maybe one character recognizes a detail about the other (a unique phrase they used in their letters, a favorite quote, or a drawing they once sent). The realization sets off a wave of nostalgia and unresolved feelings.
As they reconnect, they navigate the gap between the people they were when they wrote the letters and who they’ve become. Old memories resurface, and they begin to wonder if the bond they once had through pen and paper can translate into a real-life connection.
What I’m looking for in a partner:
Possibly willing to double, but not necessary
18+ because I have no limits (that I’ve found so far)
Post fairly often (once or twice a day would be nice, but life gets in the way, I get that)
Communicate! I love to chat OOC and discuss plots as they unfold
If you get bored with the RP please tell me. I won’t be offended, I just don’t really like being ghosted.
At least two to three paragraphs per post on the low end. I don’t need a novel necessarily, but it’s hard for me to respond to short posts. Every once in a while is okay (I’m guilty of it too)
